Veiled Vendetta

CHAPTER THIRTEEN (T.W: Fights, Blood)

The friends planned to hang out after school, but Nina and Blake were off on a date. Deciding to reschedule, the group dispersed for the day. Izzy returned to her apartment to complete her assignments. Afterward, she headed to a rooftop restaurant, choosing a spot near the balcony to enjoy the view. Placing her order, Izzy savored the moment of dining alone, though she knew she could always summon JD and GD if she wished.

Observing from above, Izzy recognized Grey and Kira. Calling out to them, she beckoned them over. The couple spotted her and made their way to her table. Warm hugs were exchanged before they settled down. Izzy inquired, "Are you two on a date?" Grey nodded, adding, "But we also have some other business today." Kira explained that Grey was upset with a student from another school, and their friends were preparing for a confrontation later that night. "Before that, I wanted to visit City W," Kira said. Izzy nodded, understanding. Then Grey requested a favor, asking Izzy and the twins to join their side in the upcoming skirmish. Izzy agreed to participate but mentioned the twins had prior commitments. Grey assured her, "That's fine, as long as you're there." Kira teased, "Back to being a duo?" Izzy grinned, replying, "Back to being a duo."

Izzy, Grey, and Kira strolled toward the designated meeting spot, spotting a familiar group of faces. Izzy's face lit up with a smile as she called out, "Jason, Nick, Sky, Carlos, it's you guys!" The group turned, their expressions mirroring Izzy's excitement. Sky enveloped Izzy in a warm hug, exclaiming, "It's great to have you here, Izzy." Izzy's smile widened as Carlos playfully remarked, "You think we're not enough to keep you safe?" Sky interjected, "Having Izzy with us just adds an extra layer of assurance." Suddenly, a contingent of other students arrived, and one of them couldn't help but comment, "Wow, Grey, I didn't know your school had such pretty girls." Kira, standing beside Grey, retorted confidently, "We are indeed pretty, and out of your league." Izzy couldn't help but smile at Kira's response. As she glanced past the guy, Izzy challenged, "Do you think having more fighters guarantees victory?" The guy, undeterred, smirked and replied, "Are you scared?" Izzy's smirk grew wider as she coolly declared, "By the end of this fight, you'll know who should have been more scared." With that, the battle commenced.

  The guys were punching and kicking the other group of guys. One of them was about to hit Grey from behind but Kira kicked him out of the way saying 'Attacking from behind is a cowardly move, you idiot.' Izzy and Kira worked together really well. If Izzy was attacking then Kira would watch her back and if Kira was attacking then Izzy would watch her back. That was how the duo worked. Near the end of the fight, a random guy from the other group took out a knife and Izzy saw him. Izzy yelled 'Yah! Don't you know, we have rules in fighting?' The guy was randomly moving his hand from side to side. He said 'I don't care as long as we win.' Izzy signed her friends to back off from him and she said 'If we decide to walk away, you won't have a winner. If you don't throw your knife away and continue without it then this fight will tie and no one will be called a winner. Do you want that?' The guy calmed down a little and said 'If you guys go then we will be the winners.' Izzy slowly walked towards him saying 'If you win today then stronger opponents will come to you for a fight. Believe me when I say there are a lot of schools out there who want to rule an area like Ace's.' 

The guy looked like he had completely calmed down and then Izzy got behind him, took his knife, and put it in his throat. He was fully in her hands now, he was struggling but Izzy was better than him. Izzy said 'The more you move, the more chance this knife of yours will hurt you. Little advice, a boy doesn't take things like this to a fight. If your opponent gets it like right now. You never know I might slit your throat.' Izzy could feel the guy's fear and she didn't want to admit but she loved when people feared her. Grey and the others knew how Izzy was, and her love of feeling power over someone. 

Izzy was not an easy girl to deal with, she was nice and friendly but when she switched it was her intrusive thoughts that won. And you would never be able to predict her intrusive thoughts. Izzy then whispered in the guy's ears 'If you don't know how to work a knife you don't carry it.' She then slit the guy's neck on the side, the knife, her hands, and her face had blood splashed now. The guy fainted due to shock. Izzy could see her friend's concerned face so she said 'Don't worry he just fainted. He won't die.' Grey said 'You didn't have to go so far Izzy.' Izzy looked at him with a straight face and walked close to him saying 'If I didn't do it then his ego would grow. He needed that and anyway, if I didn't control the situation when he had the knife, we would have lost, and remember losing is not in my dictionary. Take him to W City's hospital, I will send JD and GD to take care of other stuff.' With that, Izzy walked away meanwhile she was walking back to the city; she didn't know that someone was watching her all along. 

Nick and the others were looking at Izzy walking away and then Nick said 'We know how Izzy is but don't you think she's got worse?' Kira added 'Yeah and since her big brother's incident.' Grey added 'I wonder who is the unlucky guy, who became Izzy's target.' Carlos then said 'I don't know who but I sure pray for them.'
