CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

On the phone, Izzy instructed DJ and BJ to bring the birthday gift she had prepared for her dad. She then inquired about the documents and evidence they were gathering. "Did you send the documents to their respective places?" The twins, DJ and BJ, shook their heads in unison, signaling 'No.'

"Why not?" questioned Izzy, her curiosity piqued. BJ explained, "We suspect Anderson might have some involvement in this, so if we obtain the evidence first, it could potentially lead to more significant repercussions for them."

Izzy nodded in understanding, acknowledging their strategy. Understanding the gravity of the situation and the potential consequences, she agreed with their decision to withhold the evidence for the time being.

The twins arrived with Mr. Wilson's gift. Inviting her dad into her hospital room, Izzy handed him the documents. "Happy birthday, Dad. This is my gift," she smiled warmly. As Mr. Wilson perused the documents, his expression shifted, and he glanced at Izzy, suspicion evident in his eyes. "It's about making me the chairman of the school, Izzy,"

When Mrs. Wilson arrived, they all gathered in the hospital room where the twins explained everything to her. Both parents were stunned; they knew Izzy had a mischievous side, but the extent of her actions left them speechless. Mr. Wilson couldn't hide his shock as he asked, "Why, Izzy? Why did you do this?" Izzy's reply was resolute, "For Izaiah. Dad, do you know what the students in the school think? They believe he transferred to another school." Mrs. Wilson chimed in, "Let them think what they want, Izzy. I thought you wanted to change schools because of your brother's accident. And honestly, I never imagined you could pull this off."

Mr. Wilson, visibly concerned, asserted, "Izzy, I don't need the school, and you're grounded for a week." Accepting the consequences, Izzy replied, "It's fine, I'll probably be stuck here in the hospital anyway. But I'm not changing my mind about exposing those responsible. I'll make sure everyone knows the truth. You may not have been there for him, but I will be there for Izaiah."

In the days that followed, Izzy continued to visit Izaiah as soon as she was able to walk again. Her friends, including Luiz, regularly accompanied her during these visits. Meanwhile, Mr. Wilson reached out to Mr. Sanders, offering his apologies and eventually resumed his position as the chairman. Additionally, Mr. Wilson decided to invest in the school, and Izzy, honoring her father's choice, transferred all her shares to him.

With a smile, Izzy remarked, "Since you declined the school as a gift, I'll give you all my shares then." Her decision signified her support for her father's choice and her determination to stand by her family's decisions.

Izzy had orchestrated the dissemination of the evidence against Avenue company and directed the twins to spread rumors about its corrupt practices. Her aim was to make these revelations widespread, turning them into headlines. As the news spread, Izzy observed everything from her hospital bed, closely monitoring the impact of the information she had unveiled.

Understanding her mother's responsibilities at the ACRC, Izzy encouraged her to go to work, assuring her that she would be fine at the hospital. Mrs. Wilson had recently been transferred to this committee, the same institution that had received the evidence concerning Avenue's corruption. While her mother fulfilled her professional duties, Izzy continued to stay abreast of the unfolding events through news reports.

As weeks passed by, the investigation into the incident that left Izaiah in a coma took its time. The authorities meticulously cross-checked every detail to ensure the accuracy of the information. It was an intricate web of inquiries, involving different departments collaborating to piece together the truth. Throughout this period, Izzy remained steadfast by her brother's side.

One day, while seated next to her brother's hospital bed, Izzy poured her heart out. She spoke to Izaiah as if he were listening, divulging the recent revelations. "Izaiah, I did it. Everyone knows now that what happened to you wasn't just a simple accident. Dad found out too. I'm sorry, I didn't know any of this. It's unbelievable, isn't it? All of this chaos just for a piece of land."

With an air of hopefulness, she continued, "Dad and Mr. Sanders have formed an unexpected friendship. Mom and Dad seem to like Luiz as well. I want you to wake up and meet him, you know him already. And I know you like him, but I wonder if you'll still feel the same when you find out he's my boyfriend." There was a brief pause as Izzy let out a small chuckle amidst her serious tone.

"Mr. Sanders has even complimented me, calling me really smart. I mean, I nearly stole his biggest money maker from him," she confessed, a sense of pride and disbelief intermingling in her voice. "Dad and Mr. Sanders are thinking of opening a school in W City. You need to wake up soon, Izaiah. I need you. I'll take over the company so you can follow your dream. You always wanted to be an actor and a singer," Izzy concluded, her words echoing with a blend of determination and affection for her brother.

Izzy was able to attend all the court hearings. Robin Anderson got punishment for drunk driving, nearly killing someone also all the girls he used got justice as well. Robert Anderson also got charged for everything he did and it was a lot. 

At one point, Izzy got a chance to talk with Robert and she went near to his face and said 'How does it feel to be destroyed by a teenager? You messed with the wrong sister Anderson. When Robin said the car collision is an accident, it is an accident. Well, from his point of view at least. When I found out you had a son, I did my little research and found out his car and the license plate number. Your son was just drunk at the wrong time. Have fun in jail.' 

Robert tried to attack Izzy but the police were there to stop him. Izzy then said 'God, I love that look on your face. I wish I could see you suffer like this all day. But don't worry I made sure you have a great time in prison. I don't know if you remember but all the people living in W City were former criminals and some of their relatives are still inside. You are going to have so much fun, Anderson.'
