chapter 37

lisa's pov

i fell asleep on Jennie's shoulder and i just fucking realized.

i quickly open my eyes and fix my sit, i look to the girl beside me with her head resting on the window, sleeping.

i quickly remove the arm rest between us and move her head closer to me and let it rest on my shoulder, hoping it's more comfortable than her spot earlier

minutes later, I'm scrolling on my phone when jisoo texted me

"lis, I'm having the best time of my life rn and i hope this flight is going to be long af"

i quickly replied to her after i read her message

"haha why????"

in just a second she already answered me

"rosè is sleeping on my shoulder! and she told me to hold her hands because it's cold omfggg"

I didn't realize that I'm already chuckling and causing my shoulders to move, shit.

jennie shift in her sleep, and making her face the uncomfortable window side again so i gently move my sit closer to her and grab her head and place it on my chest, i grab the blanket that the airline gave us and cover her body

she hug my all the way to my side with her head on my chest, i think I'm having the best flight too

my phone on my lap buzzed once again and it's jisoo

"i see you there manoban, trying to bust a move huh"

"oh shut up, I just don't want her to have some cramps when she wake up"

"yeah, let's pretend that i believe you"

" jisoo, i have to tell you something "

i look to jennie once again and kiss her forehead, i don't know what or why is this happening to me but best believe I'm liking this.

the kiss last night? it's real, it's genuine and I'm willing to trade the world to have that moment with her again.

"spill"

"jennie and i kissed last night"

i saw jisoo, looking back to me with a wide eyes, mouthing 'what?' i point to my phone and she went back and fix her sit

"bitch, what?!"

"i know!"

jennie, in my shoulder still half asleep is now scrubbing her eyes, yawning.

i just look at her, waiting for her next move

she yawns again but she's in my face right now, she's still have her eyes closed so i decided to cover my nose just to tease

"oh my, i didn't know models can have a pretty bad breath" that statement made her open her eyes wider than ever and smell her own breath by breathing in it thru her nose

she slap my shoulder and glare at me "it's not that bad!" i shrugged in response

"sure, if that's what you believe in. I'm totally fine with it" she sighed annoyingly and it brings me such joy knowing i made her annoyed

she got her phone from her purse beside her, connect through her airpods. I'm assuming she's playing some music, i thought she's gonna rest her head to the window but instead she rest it to my shoulder, my heart is pounding like crazy and I'm afraid it'll jump off my chest

"lis, how long have i been sleeping?" she suddenly asked, i don't know what push me to hold her right hand and play with her fingers but i just did

"about an hour? I'm not really sure, why?" she looks up to me, and i can feel my brain being dead just by looking at her this close.

in just one push or a turbulence, we could kiss.

she shook her head and get back to my shoulder once again, thank God

"thank you for letting me sleep in your shoulder, you must've been sore" I'm still playing with her fingers, i thought she's clueless all this time but it turns out she already knew. I don't know but whenever she thanked me for something, makes me feel alive.

" sleep more, we still have more time to take a nap"

she just nodded and i kiss her head and caress it gently.

jennie kim, I'll make you like me.

can i make you like me?

i hope so.
