chapter 42

lisa's pov

i woke up from a good nap, with jennie poking my cheeks. she greeted me with a giggle and scratch her head afterwards

"believe me, you need to wake up. kai is banging the door for the past ten minutes" she said and chuckles, she stand up and show me two type of clothing, i look at her with a confuse expression

"what? I'll be attending to Krystal's bridal shower and i figured i need to at least show some effort" i nodded in response and sit up while yawning

"what time is it anyway?" she chuckles and points to the wall clock hanging in front of us

"it's already 5 pm, lis" jennie shook her head and try to make me stand up by pulling me

"it's going to be a couple of hours till night, we should just stay in and sleep more" i try wiggling my wait out of her hands to get back on the comfiest bed i have ever been

"what? you wanna miss out on your brother's party?" she's got a point. i stand up and stretch the hell out of my bones and nerves

"so, manoban? dress 1 or dress 2?" she asked me while showing me the clothes earlier. the dress 1 is a backless red dress, let's say the length is below her thighs but it doesn't reach her knees. the dress 2 is a black spaghetti strip dress, and this one reach her knees.

i pull jennie closer and smile, she just gave me a confused expression as i hold both of her hands

"you look beautiful whatever dress you want to try on tonight, jen." she just playfully slap my chess and surpress her smile

"i know, lisa. i just want to ask you what do you think suits me the best, and it seems like you're having a hard time choosing too" she gave me a teasing smile and i nodded and put the strand of her hair behind her ear

"i guess, the dress 2. i bet you'll look fantastic with it" she nodded and i didn't expect her to give me a kiss on my cheek and walk to the bathroom, while she just left me here. dumbfounded while smiling like a teenager in love

"better find an outfit, Manoban or I'll leave you here" she shouted from the bathroom and i rush myself to find a worthy outfit

i came up with a black dress, it's just a simple black dress with white buttons all over it for design and i match it it what sunglasses and a black boots

jennie came out of the bathroom, looking fabulous as ever. her hair is tied in a pony tail and her make up is not that heavy

i pull her close to me as she smiled "why? saw something that you like?"

"pretty much so, i think we should just let them know that we're not coming" she just chuckles and i pull her into a hug, my head resting on her shoulder

"this is a very important party for your brother and krystal, lis" she said giggling and i remove my head to her shoulder and smile

"well, i think he'll understand if i told him that i want to rest of this day with you." i slowly release her hair from her hair tie

"you know, let down your hair and change into some comfy pjs and watch the sunrise from here" i told her and she smiled at me and chuckles

"it took me 10 minutes to tie my hair, lisa." i just look at her with wide eyes and scratch my nape

"shit, sorry" she chuckles in response and hold my hand

"let's go, kai said he'll be waiting at the lobby" i nodded as she pulled me out of our room, i locked the door behind us as we got out of the room

as we're walking down the hall, to reach the lobby we saw jisoo and rosè on the way to the lobby as well

"looking fancy with that dress" rosè said as she look at us with a smile, jisoo walk to my side and nudge

"i wonder how many drunk guys are going to ruin kai's party" she told me while she fixes her white dress and covered with a black blazer and a boots as well

"we'll find out later i guess" i told her while jennie subtly hold my hand as the four of us walks towards the lobby
