Arabella's POV:

I had tried to forget my confusing conversation with Cedric, as it seemed to had filled my head with more questions than answers.

Why was Cedric still working with Katie? Why was he confessing this to me? What could she possibly have on him? Why was she still determined to tear me down?

Despite Cedric's previous infidelity in our past relationship, and everything he had done to help Katie's plans, I still had a lot of sympathy for him with what was going on with his father.

I couldn't imagine the stress and worry he must feel, and with everything piling on top of that, it couldn't be easy for him.

Regardless, it may be harsh but it simply was not my problem. All I cared about was the loved ones around me, and getting through these last few months of school with George.

After dinner that night, most of the group arranged a study group in our dorm. George and I decided not to attend, and instead chose to hang out in his dorm.

Fred and Angelina stayed with us for a while, before deciding to sneak off into the depths of the courtyard to smoke some weed.

They offered for us to join, which I would normally happily agree to, but this time I kindly declined and let them head out without us.

It was then just George and I left, him sat up against his head board whilst I laid beside him on my stomach, my head in my hands.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a while, before George's eyes caught mine and he spoke out, "are you okay darling?"

"Mhm," I mumbled, "I'm fine, why?"

He sat up more, "you've just been a bit quiet tonight- it's not like you."

I tried to shoot him a reassuring smile, "I'm okay Georgie, I guess I'm just longing for school to be over."

"Well I second that," he agreed, opening his arms and beckoning me to him.

I crawled over, straddling his waist and laying my head into his chest, his arms wrapping around me.

I listened to George's breathing as we cuddled quietly.

"I can't wait to live my life with you," he spoke out gently.

I smiled into his chest, lifting my head up and perching my chin against him, "me too."

"I mean it," he continued, his head coming up to brush some hair out of my face, "every triumph, every bad day, every laugh, every late night, every early morning, every milestone, every moment... I want to share them all with you."

I bit back another smile, feeling my cheeks flush red. "And so you shall."

He cocked his head slightly, gazing down at me, causing me to blush even more.

He let out a sigh, slight smile on his face, "how did I get so lucky?"

My eyes met his as I looked to him longingly, his eyes scanning my features carefully.

"I am completely and utterly devoted to you." His eyes still on me, brushing more hair from my face and tucking it behind my ear.

I shuffled up his chest, my face reaching his. My hands came to cup his face and neck, matching his deep gaze.

I felt butterflies in my stomach, his look of pure devotion consuming every fibre in my body.

"It's me and you," I whispered, my forehead coming to lean again his, "always."
