10 September 2019

Bonnie Cleer, 21, was sitting outside, smoking her cigarette because she knows that something is wrong. Brynn hasn't showed up on campus since Monday, and this was quite concerning. Her boyfriend, Gage, headed towards her.

He scolded, having a stern tone in his voice, "Bonnie, are you serious, are you smoking more often because another one of our classmates disappeared? I know that neither of us has saw her in class, but I am pretty sure she is just ill."
"No, Brynn is gone, I believe that she has fallen the same shitty fate as the other four victims." Bonnie replied, "And I fear that I may be next on whoever-is-doing-this' hit-list!"
"Please, don't smoke too much, you will end up having problems." Gage added.
"What's the point of not smoking when our classmates are disappearing left and right." Bonnie replied, as she took another huff of smoke.
"I care for you... please don't hurt yourself." Gage replied.
"Can you let me smoke in peace?" Bonnie asked.
"Okay, I will leave you be, but don't fall victim to whatever is happening to our classmates."  Gage replied as he entered the building to work on his schoolwork.
---------------------------------
Meanwhile with Leslie and Trish:

"It's been two days since we have nabbed our previous victim." Leslie began.
"So, about Bonnie, what should we do to make sure that she doesn't interfere with our plans?" Trish asked.
"I have a plan; we should make her watch a-"
"No. No! NO! That bitch is WAY too smart to fall for a video, we need to think of something else. How about you ask someone to send a box of glass and then we fill up a bucket and as soon as she opens the door, she will begin transforming!" Trish then cackled.
"Yeah, but there is a problem, glass doesn't have the chemicals to transform her." Leslie replied, "However, we can make that happen if I infuse the effects of the video with the glass, and then Bonnie will be in a world of pain."
"That's a great idea, let's do it!" Trish replied.
-------------------------------
Meanwhile with Tamara:
Tamara was walking alongside Preston, who was looking for books to research on the transformational phenomena that was going on for the past few weeks.
"So, what's with you looking for books this much?" Tamara asked.
"People are transforming left and right, and Leslie has been avoiding me. He usually doesn't do this to me, it's as if he is doing this on purpose!" Preston replied.
"So, if he is doing that, then why you are friends with him?" Tamara asked, again.
"I was his first real friend, and he usually tells me about his plans and achievements before anyone else. I don't get what is wrong with him!" Preston added.
"So, are you suspecting that this Leslie guy is the one behind the transformations?" Tamara asked.
"Yes. But who knows anymore? I just hope it is a mere coincidence between his strange behavior and the past five disappearances." Preston replied, before something attracted his attention, a book with labeled The Disappearances of 2017 and 2018.
"Found something yet? Because I want to find some games on the library's computer to play." Tamara replied.
"Now is not the time. We are about to discover something very important that may be connected to recent events." Preston replied, "All of us can probably stop whoever is doing this, hopefully not Leslie, in their tracks."
"Oh, I have some idea what you're talking about. Mission Neo-Justine?" Tamara asked.
"Yes, I am glad you remembered Tamara; I wouldn't know what to do if you suddenly forgot about our mission." Preston replied, "We should probably see if we could check out this book."
The duo then headed towards the librarian desk as a woman in her mid-40s prompted Preston to hand over the book and his school ID (which also functions like a library card). It was when the librarian noticed that the title when she became disappointed in the duo, "You are really going to check out this book. Sorry, but this book is supposed to stay here because it has caused panic in the past, something about the disappearances that happened in August of 2017 and May of 2018 respectively. May I ask you; do you dismiss any of the disappearances in this book as pure fiction?"
"No, I know that there have been disappearances. Five people have already transformed!" Preston cried.
"They've gone missing, but transformations are not real, and people cannot turn into objects." The librarian replied.
"Wake up! I have seen objects popping up in the real world, and this is the very reason why human beings like you and me are disappearing. It started with 22 people, then 11 people!" Preston shouted.
"Please use your inside voice, Picard. You are acting like some lunatic; I believe that you need counseling." The librarian replied, "I should give you a referral to the school's counselor."
"I don't need counseling, I am fine... and I am not crazy, everyone around me, except for Tamara and the three other people I have been hanging out with, don't believe me. If people don't believe that people could possibly believe that a human being can turn into an object, even with the evidence being right underneath their noses, then I am surrounded by idiots." Preston cried, "and if I were you, I would wake up and see what's in this book as facts, because all of them are true stories."
"I still cannot let you cause panic, Picard. Your mother would not approve of what you're doing." The librarian replied.
"I know, if you're not willing to help me stop the disappearances of my classmates, then why am I even here?" Preston then sulked, sitting down on the couch, crying.
"Cry all you want, Picard, but I won't let you cause abuse this sort of knowledge. I have seen what people have used this book for in the past, I won't let you use it for malicious purposes." The librarian chastised.
"Um, ma'am, do you think you're going too far with telling my friend that he is wrong? Because believe it or not, he's right about the disappearances." Tamara asked.
"I am just doing my job to make sure that knowledge is not misused, I've seen what harmful things that the previous renter did, telling lies about the families of the victims." The librarian replied.
"I am telling you because 5 of my classmates already transformed and there are accounts from some eyewitnesses, Claura and Reina included, that they have all seen the horrid transformations or signs of it." Tamara replied, "And I fear that my sister would one day fall victim to that mysterious person, who Preston suspects to be Leslie."
"Oh, is that so, maybe I should ask them once I cross paths with them- oh, it's Bonnie and Gage, again." The librarian replied before noticing Bonnie and Gage walking in. She did not seem to be enthused about Bonnie entering the room.
"What the hell are you two arguing about?" Bonnie asked.
"Well, we are trying to figure out the disappearances and find out how to stop them from happening before it happens to any of us." Tamara replied, "But the librarian won't let us get the book we need, because it may be spreading misinformation."
"It is misinformation!" The librarian replied.
"Well, if you are looking for another person who suspects that something is wrong, look no further than me." Bonnie replied.
"Ok, I will sit down and see what you suspect what may go on." Tamara then sat down on the chair next to the still pouting Preston, "Dude, Bonnie is ready to share her insights. Trust me, she sounds like she would be a very eloquent woman."
Bonnie then sat down across from Tamara and Preston, before clearing her throat, "I see that you sought after my insights and my advice on how we can tackle whoever is transforming our friends serially. Well, I would assume that Leslie doesn't interact much with other people, so he must be sneaking around and transmogrifying people when he has a chance. As for preventing whatever transformations he may have in store for you, I would avoid any emails unless it is from your professors, your group partners, or the school itself, because if you receive an email from some strange person, you will wound up having your curiosity get the better of you, and then that makes you vulnerable to whatever he wants. I would also go home as soon as your done with any business you have on campus, or if you are not a commuter, then stay inside of your dorm unless you have classes or have to eat."
"Whoa, that is such a long explanation!" Tamara replied.
"You are correct, Tamara, I have an immense knack for big words." Bonnie began.
"And that is why I admire her." Gage added.
"Aw... you are too benevolent, Gage, hope nothing bad happens to either of us." Bonnie replied.
"Trust me, you are not going to fall victim as long as you have those brains intact." Gage replied.
Bonnie then told the duo, "The both of us should get going before our next class."
