Robert Florence, 21, was working on the machine that he was building with Rodney. It has been a day since Reina was discharged from the hospital, yet was transformed into an object from the account of her father.

Robert and Rodney had a dynamic as a duo, with Robert being the serious, leader and face of the project, and Rodney doing most of the work, and being quite silly, although it should be the other way around.

Robert has also gotten an email that he was next, that he should just download the file and let himself get transformed. Robert knew that if he transformed, then the reasonable, technical half of the robotics duo would be gone, and only the silly, yet ingenious half would remain.

Although it doesn't seem like it, Robert and Rodney are seen as equals that compliment one another and one would be lost without the other. Both of them, despite being into robotics, couldn't fathom becoming actual robots.

"This is getting out of control, people are turning into sentient objects!" Rodney complained about what happened to his classmates.
"Don't worry, Rodney, I am certain that none of this is going to happen to us." Robert replied.
"Why are you saying that?! Whoever is doing this have their ways of getting to us!" Rodney was panicking over the fact that the transformations could happen regardless what they do, "So, even if we did not respond to their emails, they are going to find us and transform us!"
"Don't worry, they don't know that we are here, they don't know the exact location of our workshop." Robert replied.
"Dangnabbit, Rob, I don't want to lose you because Reina's father has told me that someone hijacked Reina's technology and turned her into a remote." Rodney replied.
"Oh, you prove a point here, and if Reina is now a robot, perhaps we could reprogram her, try to access her old human memories?" Robert asked.
"Reprogram? Access old memories? Do you mean that none of the old memories are truly gone?!" Rodney's jaw dropped.
"Rodney, that's just a hypothesis, even I have no idea if the mental changes are absolute and Reina is truly erased." Robert replied.
"Wait, reprogramming her isn't going to change her back physically!" Rodney added.
"I know, but I am going to find a way to reprogram Reina to remember what she is as a human. Rodney, try to fetch this Remote creature." Robert requested.
"Can do. Just take care and do what you can to avoid getting yourself transformed." Rodney then walked towards the door leading outside and nodded, "Don't let anyone transform you or we will never know if we could reverse mental changes!"
"Don't worry, I can hold off on my own." Robert nodded as well.

Later...
Rodney was walking around campus, looking for a sentient remote creature. He knew that if he couldn't find her and who knows how long Robert can delay the transformations. Rodney stopped and looked around, he noticed a sentient remote, looking for the other Death PACT members.

Rodney then walked over to this remote creature, and began to talk to her, "So, I have an idea on where your.... teammates may be."
"Wait, you do?! But how do I know that I could trust you?" Remote asked.
"Well, one way to find out!" Rodney then pressed the red button, because it was obvious that the red button would be the power button, turning off Remote. Rodney then grabbed Remote as he began to walk over to parking lot, where his car was and placed her inside the backseat. Rodney then got into the car and drove off back to the workshop.

Later...
Rodney parked nearby the entrance of the workshop, as he ran over to get the wagon and placed Remote in there. He began to tow the still powered-off Remote over to the workshop and opened the door.

After taking the necessary steps, Rodney eventually found Robert.
"Robert, look who I got." Rodney showed the unconscious remote creature on there.
"Whoa, that is impressive. Well, strap her onto the table in the next door and maybe find a way to access the old memories." Robert nodded, "I'm busy trying to fix all the bugs within the machine."
"What are we going to do when we're all done with this? Contact Goldiva?" Rodney asked.
"Yeah, we should, she has been the one who is involved with Willa's comeuppance, so it would only make sense if we contacted her." Robert replied, "Yes, I have been paying attention to what is happening in the past couple of years."
"Alright, we are going to have Reina back, at least mentally, in no time. Maybe she can help us find a way to defeat whoever is doing this. Speaking of which, I believe she'd be the key to reveal the identities of whoever is doing this to the entire class!" Rodney added, before heading to the other room and locking it up, so no unwanted guests entered.

Speaking of Unwanted Guests...
Trish and Leslie just parked in front of the workshop.
"I had this hunch that those two robotics nerds were up to something, meddling with our plans!" Trish shouted as she crossed her arms.
"So, how are we going to break into their damn workshop! The place has advanced security and I doubt that they would welcome us with open arms!" Leslie scowled.
"Well, why won't you use your hacker skills to give us access to the workshop and we can finally ascend them to higher lifeforms!" Trish shouted.
"Well, I could give that one a shot, but we should transform Rodney as soon as we can as well, we are transforming Rob first!" Leslie replied as he opened his computer and began his attempt at hacking the workshop open.

Back with Robert...
Robert felt accomplished today, with all the hard work he has put into today.
"Whew, I am glad that I am building this machine, hopefully it will turn those who have been affected by whatever is going on back to normal. Hope that I won't be-" He was then interrupted by the blaring of the alarms.
