Paula Blueberry, 21, was sitting down on her desk, doing her online school work. It has been a week since there was news that Noah has disappeared, all thanks to Preston. The last time that she saw Noah, he was perfectly fine in terms of physical integrity, but was anxious about being ignored. How did someone as relatively healthy looking as Noah just disappear and die? Did something terrible happen to him?

Paula was also concerned about the constant emails about threatening to pick off, via transform, her family one-by-one if she does not give in soon. Paula had two choices, it was either herself or her family that will be transformed, and wrong choice means that she'd be alone, forever.

She knew that she didn't want to be alone, but she didn't want to become something that she isn't. Paula was frantic about losing her family after losing her girlfriend to such a transformation, Cassidy's screams and cries still resonating within her.

Paula had her reasons to stop going to campus. She didn't feel safe going to campus anymore, she was afraid of herself transforming without giving people closure, especially towards her own family. She knew that she'd have to give her family closure about the transformation eventually.

Paula persisted to do her schoolwork, even with all those intrusive thoughts inside of her head. She wasn't ready to welcome such a fate worse than death, which is already preferable to loneliness.

After she finished her schoolwork for the day, Paula got off her computer and began walking down to help with the bakery, help bake the pies with her rather large family. She has a sizable amount of siblings surrounding her, with her favorite being Kelsie.

Asides from Cassidy, Kelsie meant everything to her because she knows that she can count on her to stand up to the family bully, Lemming, who happens to be the dad's favorite child. Paula had about 9 siblings in total - Kelsie, Cheran, Lemming, Abigail, Rhode, Pascal, Creole, Parker, and Phoenix.

Paula knew that Kelsie is capable of beating Lemming to a pulp, although Lemming would still get away with the bullying his siblings, thanks to the father seeing him as the golden child, and Kelsie getting a grounding because Mr. and Mrs. Blueberry don't promote corporal punishment around these parts.

After a baking session, the family then decided to hold a meeting together, the rest of the siblings glaring at Lemming.
"Alright, I have made my decision to choose who is inheriting the bakery when we pass. Unsurprisingly, it is Lemming, my favorite child, who is going to inherit the bakery." Mr. Blueberry began.
"I knew it! I fucking knew that you were going to pick that bastard who picked on us our entire lives, at home and at school!" Parker shouted, knowing that it wasn't fair.
"Yeah, how is such a bully being elected to become heir of the bakery, it should've been Paula or Kelsie!" Abigail shouted.
"Kids, calm down, my decision is final and you can't do or say anything to change that!" Mr. Blueberry replied, hushing the complaining siblings.

And to add insult to injury, Lemming got up and taunted every last one of his siblings.
"Abigail is such a slutty prostitute, Creole is such a drug addict who needs help, Rhode and Pascal need to go to the damn crazy ward, I've caught Parker and Phoenix engaging in gambling, Cheran is such a nerd, Kelsie was the one who was having all the other siblings gang up on me and call me nasty names, and Paula had those fantasies of pushing me down the stairs and another one about pushing me off the roof." Lemming, being the self-taught liar he is, was going all out on bullying and making false accusations about his own siblings.
"I would never fantasize about murdering you, since I am aware of the consequences of killing somebody." Paula refuted.
"And you had your friends gang up on me and Paula when we were younger and called us all those nasty names, physically beating us up into bloody pulps!" Kelsie added.
"I would never sell my body for those kinds of purposes! Ew!" Abigail shouted.
"I've never touched a drug in my entire life. Preposterous!" Creole shouted.
"There is nothing wrong with Pascal and I!" Rhode shouted as well.
"What's gambling?" Parker asked.
"Yeah, I am confused." Phoenix added.
"Hey! I take pride in those things! Never mock me for those interests, you asshole!" Cheran shouted.
"What, it is all true, I have seen it with my eyes." Lemming let out a nasty chuckle.
"What the hell?! By your eyewitness account, you mean fucking fabricated video footage! You think of us as your rivals to your success?!" Cheran was fuming with rage.
"You cannot have success without any sacrifice, and I don't need to be honest." Lemming snickered.
"You're a dirty little asshole, aren't you, you'd run this place to the depths of Hell!" Cheran shouted.
"ENOUGH! ENOUGH YOU TWO! I AM TIRED OF ALL THE SIBLING JEALOUSY AND ALL THE ARGUMENTS! WHY CAN WE NOT GET ALONG?!" Mrs. Blueberry snapped, "And Marvin! I thought that you were very impartial when it comes to your children. Never knew that I was dead wrong, never knew that you'd have a favorite child, no wonder why Lemming has stayed out of trouble all these years, you made him immune to punishment. That's why he is so entitled as those Karens that come in every now and then!"
"Charice, please, listen to me, I never thought you'd object to my decisions. I'm the man of this bakery-" Marvin tried to refute but was interrupted.
"The pride dripping from your voice! We have been running this place since my parents have retired, so I am the one who inherited it, not you. You only have my surname, so in actuality, I get the final say but I rather leave that to their surprise." Charice replied, "The meeting is dismissed because I will be making some changes to my will and testament."
