Gabriella Greene, 21, patrolled the campus as usual. The constant overwhelming worry of being the next target was driving her insane. This bothered her because she knew if she disappeared, there would be nobody to assist her cousin, Mia and Liam's roommate, Andrew. She knew that she had to act fast and make sure that Mia doesn't end up on the streets or force herself to take on more hours than what is legally allowed. She cannot let Mia go down a dark path as a means of survival, she must warn Mia about the disappearances happening over this past month and not to apply for next year.Gabriella knew that Mia needs a fallback plan just in case something bad happens to her, she knew that if she was affected by the disappearances, it won't just affect her, but have a worse, bigger impact on the Greene family than Liam's disappearance did a couple years back.
Gabriella, however, never thought that she'd do this, but she must write Mia a letter before she goes, more preferably as soon as she can, because you'd never know when Trish or Leslie would get to you. They'd attack her when she least expects it, so Gabriella had to not just think for herself, but everyone else that she knew and loved, at least give them closure for what happened to her.
It was before she saw Maxwell loitering, again.
"How many times do I have to tell you, don't loiter on campus or anywhere. Now leave before the campus police shows up!" Gabriella shouted, before Maxwell ran off to avoid trouble, "The nerve of some people breaking the rules. Campus won't be the same without me."
Then Gabriella the continued to patrol the campus.
-------------------------------
Later...
Gabriella returned to her room and grabbed a piece of paper and pencil. She then began writing down the letter to Mia. And once she was finished, it went a little something like this:"Mia,
If you're reading this, then this means that the disappearances have gotten to me and I am already gone. I've tried my hardest to avoid what may I describe as my demise, I tried my hardest to prevent Trish and Leslie from making me go through what some may call a fate worse than death.
Before I inevitably disappear, I wanted to tell you something, please, for your sake, do not apply for University of Deerville next year. I have seen BFDI characters roaming around campus and I heard that there are a handful of people responsible. I even heard of rumors that those who have gone missing turned into BFDI characters. I don't know how true these rumors are, and I don't even want to know if they are true.
Assuming that this whole 'turning into an object' ordeal is real, please, find a fallback plan just in case I fall. I'd suggest that you move in with a friend until this whole ordeal blows over. I am sorry if I am unable to graduate from college or return home to see you. For your sake, apply somewhere else and skip Deerville while you still can.
Sincerely,
Your dearest cousin,
Gabriella"Gabriella sobbed after writing down the letter, some of the tears falling to the piece of paper.
"I should get on with sending her this mail ASAP, it doesn't matter how long it takes to get to her address, I'd be gone sooner or later..." Gabriella cried as she acknowledged the possibility of her falling victim to whatever is going on. Other thoughts were running through her mind right now. Why didn't the disappearances go unpunished? How did she let this happen? What could she have done to stop whoever is responsible for the disappearances? She began thinking that she should stop whoever is doing this and try to get all those who have disappeared back. Of course, it is going to take a while for them to make up for lost time, but wouldn't it be worth saving them all? Wouldn't it be worth being the one who brings those miscreants who caused trouble to justice? She could finally be praised as a heroine rather than a batshit enforcer. She wanted to save the campus community and herself, because if she falls, University of Deerville will fall into pure chaos.
