A night has passed since Noah Fairway, 21, has received and deleted a suspicious email. He was still writing his novel.

Of course, Noah knew that his actions have no weight on the larger scheme of things, and he is just an insignificant speck compared to the universe. He is  constantly surrounded by bad things happening around him and to him. He has already acknowledged his mortality, due to be constantly surrounded by death.

For the past few weeks, Noah has been wondering: Why am I here? Why keep on living my life when there are people out to hurt me? Why keep going when you'd be gone any day soon? When you'd eventually fall.

To Noah, he sees the world as it is; not all sunshine and rainbows like most people think. He knows that he only exists, nothing else. He knows that he is going to die one day, if not today.

Literature was only a distraction to him, much like everything else, from reality, a coping mechanism. He knew that writing gives him an outlet to express his existential dread and other anxieties about society.

Noah then got up, closing his laptop and walked around. Noah was aware of the fact that shit could always get worse. He knew that his transformation isn't going to impact much of the school's community. Only a few people know him, that's it. He knows that he would be dead to the world sooner or later, and to him, it is okay... he isn't that significant anyways.

Noah then returned from his little walk in the hallway, and returned to his computer, only to notice that his computer has been hacked.
"What is this?! Did my computer got hacked?" Noah then began to read the text. "You are nothing... damn it! What does that mean?!"
Suddenly, a white (in terms of CYMK, it is the absence of color) light shone onto Noah's eyes, despite them being covered by his grayish green and blue bangs.
Upon regaining his eyesight, he shrugged it off and noticed that his computer was now turned off.
"Okay... just somebody trying to troll you, but if I eventually transform because of this, oh well." Noah then returned to working on his novel, hoping that he would get it finished.

The Next Day...
11 October 2019
Noah woke up to his roommate, Darian, flicking his fingers onto his face.
"Who the hell is on this spare bed? You don't happen to attend here, don't you?" Darian asked.
"Uh, Darian, please, I don't know what you're talking about. We h-have been attending college since 2015 and we've been sharing this room since the s-start of the semester." Noah nervously replied.
"You got to be kidding me, I don't recall you attending college and I don't recall having a roommate. How did you know my name?" Darian asked.
"I thought you'd know that by now, and d-did you hit your head hard? You should see the nurse." Noah replied, "Asides, I have a class to attend."
"I don't think that the professors won't permit trespassers in their classrooms." Darian taunted Noah.
"Shut up, I believe that your pulling a harmless prank on me. Nothing to do with the video..." Noah chuckled.
"Seriously, I don't know who you are." Darian replied.
"Well, anyways, I am heading there anyways and you can't stop me!" Noah then walked through the hallway. Usually, people would acknowledge his presence and his bangs covering his eyes were a dead giveaway of his identity, despite himself not being around many people. People weren't acknowledging him at all, not even a simple hello. It was as if he was invisible.
