Samantha Handle, 21, was sitting down right next to Tara. She was nervous about herself and Tara getting targeted for those so-called disappearances. Sam was excited for her Thanksgiving break and how she is going to spend it with her girlfriend, Preston, and Professor Picard. Tamara and Belle couldn't come because their parents will be home for the Thanksgiving break. She hoped that she doesn't fall victim to whatever the hell had happened to her classmates. She waited for the Professor to arrive, hoping that there is some good news.

The professor came in and she looked like she had an announcement to make.
"I have some good news, Bambi believes the video that Preston had shown me, which I've shown her. She gets all of us, since she had a sister that fell victim to something similar. Another good news is that Preston and I, along with a couple others, are heading off on a camping trip and inside a cabin as well." The professor began, "I believe that we all must unwind from all of this nonsense. Also, I am concerned about your wellbeing, so I am willing to let you leave early after discussing your plans for the final project."

Final project? Wasn't finals a couple weeks from now?

"Due to this chronic absenteeism, the final project will be done individually." The professor announced this due to the current condition of class attendance.

"Shit, this is bad..." Trish whispered as she knew that she cannot rely on others to help her anymore. That Leslie and her would have to work on separate projects.
"Well, it's a good thing that I finally get to have my own project, isn't it!?" Belle chuckled.
"You serious?! We have be putting effort as groups despite the disappearances!" Sam shouted.
"Yeah, but almost everyone is gone because of the damn disappearances!" Tara added.
"Calm down, I am pretty sure that we could figure out a way to retrieve the lost students, perhaps over the break." Professor Picard replied.
"I agree with mom, there is no reason to give up on hope and resign to something that could equate to or be worse than death! Remember, whoever is doing this will get their comeuppance... eventually." Preston added.
"How do ya know that Karma will bite them in the ass?! I am not going to stick around and watch what will happen!" Sam shouted, "I am tired of seeing that less and less classmates attending this class, are you too?!"
"Yes, I feel you. But tommorrow is going to be the beginning of a fun trip." Preston replied.
"It's strange that you think camping is going to save us from falling the same fate as everyone else who came before me. They're going to get to us anyways. Don't say that I didn't warn you." Sam added.
"Yes, that is a possibility that I must be aware of, but nobody knows the precise location of the campgrounds outside of town anyways." Preston replied, "And I know that you're warning me about what may happen to not just you, but pretty much everyone else here."
"Alright, alright, let's settle this down. Nobody has transformed into an object, you guys are all nuts for believing that people are turning into sentient object. Haven't you all touched some grass lately?! If not, get off the internet and go outside, it's going to be winter soon!" Belle shouted.
"Class, let's get things started so we could get out early for break." Professor Picard added.

Then the class began, with the Professor telling everyone about the final project.

Later...
Tamara and Belle were walking over to the library to do their school work, just as per usual.

"So, what are we going to do tonight?" Tamara asked.
"Our parents will be home tonight, so we'd be waiting for them to open that door, sitting down on the couch.
"Okay... so, what to do til then?" Tamara asked.
"Do school work, think about our final projects, and get ready for our parents to arrive." Belle added.
"Okay... whatever." Tamara sighed.

Meanwhile with Trish and Leslie
Trish and Leslie were right at the area where they had met up earlier this semester.
"So, the Professor is taking two people with her and Preston." Leslie scowled.
"And it wasn't us either, and I've heard the Mr. and Mrs. Vincent-Lewis are arriving back to Deerville, which means the only two people that could be coming with the professor and son would be Samantha and Tara!" Trish replied.
"I know, right?! I thought Preston and I were tighter than the knot that I cannot get undone for years, yet he won't invite me?! The nerve of that asshole!" Leslie scowled again.
"Guess he wasn't your friend then." Trish snickered.
"Shut, he was my friend before I began working on this project with you, it wasn't me, it was him with all his snooping around and shit!" Leslie shouted.
"Well, perhaps I could find where they are camping out over Thanksgiving break and get one of them to become a higher lifeform, perhaps even do something related to who she'll become." Trish snickered, scheming a shitton of things that would lead to the transformations of Sam, and if she's lucky enough, Tara, "I have it on my laptop, it is located in between Deerville and Barkfield, more of closer proximity to Barkfield than Deerville."
"Perfect, can I trust you with the task of transforming Sam, and, if her transformation is not found out, Tara into befitting characters?" Leslie asked.
"Anything to help people realize how great being a higher lifeform really is and how much more useful their new bodies will be as well." Trish replied.
"I will signal you once the Picards leave their house. I am saying that because I live right next to them." Leslie added.
"Okay, I will make sure that the break doesn't go without transformations. Nobody escapes their ascension that easily!" Trish snickered.
