A/N: So this is actually 27!
So like I want to get Jake and Amy back to school ASAP, so I can move on with the plot, so do you guys mind if I rush through the rest of Summer break or shall I just update a shit load of fillers until the remaining four weeks are up?
Thanks to all of my readers again for getting over 1k! You're awesome.

Chapter 27: Amy's POV: Window Flirtations
To say the remainder of the day dragged on is an understatement.
Spin the bottle ended as soon as Leila had to kiss Tyler, and Zac stormed out of the house. Zeila is literally the most adorable thing ever. Shortly after he left, Leila followed him, feeling guilty. I tried to persuade her she wasn't to blame, the ratio of males to females was too uneven to be fair, and it was only normal for the bottle to force her into smacking lips with one of the other guys.
They're not fighting, at all- I just get it that Zac, although a charmer, is practically the definition of jealousy.
However, Leila wasn't the only one feeling guilty- so was Tyler for making his best friend fly out in a rage. You know what that means? He drove her home, taking Caleb with him, to save Caleb the walk. By this point, it was nine o'clock and Jake was growing impatient... And irritating.
"Piss off." I giggled, as he poked at my feet, which I'd carelessly sprawled all over his lap.
"Take them off of me." He laughed in return.
"I'm comfy." I moaned, slapping his hands.
His phone vibrated in his pocket.
"I'm going home." He said, "Mum wants some 'quality time'".
"What? No you're not leaving me home alone with my mother, she thinks there's something going on between us and I know she won't stop pestering."
"See you tomorrow."
And with that he left.
Blunt as that.
Dick.
After a few silent moments of thinking to myself, my mum waltzed into the living room, and sat down beside me with a huge grin morphed on her face.
"Hiya sweet-pea." She smiled, wrapping her arm around me.
"Hey. I've missed you."
"Hmm, I don't think that you have." She winked, cheekily.
"W-what do you mean? Of course I have. I haven't seen you for two weeks!"
"You've had some pretty decent company," mum wiggled her eyebrows, "He's just the cutest, isn't he?"
My face ran shocking red.
Even my mum was falling in love with him, I don't think there was anybody within a 50 mile radius that wasn't.
"Yeah." I smirked, "I guess Jake is." I blushed, reminding he had a name.
Doesn't every mother just adore snooping into their daughter's social life? Better yet, their love life. Unfortunately for her, up until Jake, I'd never had either of those two things for her to stick her nose into and I know she'd totally die for any gossip she could get. Sure, I had Leila and the very weakest of weak fancies, and at first I wanted a full blown crush, where I'd go giggly anytime he vaguely glanced in my direction and wrote essays about my budding love for him in my diary. I guess, I just never got one of those. Boys were never to be trusted- and my father and Sam proved that perfectly. However, as the years went on and I saw the mess Leila went through with guys, the thought just didn't appeal to me. Losing your sanity over a random kid your hormones are lusting for, isn't my idea of fun. Even after all of this time with Jake, I wouldn't call it a crush. I don't get giggly, I can just be myself, and that's what I've been waiting for, for all these years. Someone that I can trust. I like him more than I'd ever known possible, but the term 'crush' just peeled my skin.
