Who's your favourite character so far, because I'm going to be introducing a new character within the next chapter or so, who do you think it is? Drum roll.... Just kidding, wait and find out, but leave your predictions in the comments, enjoy x

Amelia:Chapter 6:PSHE Continued

I could not believe it. I basically didn't have any friends at this school, but let me tell you, I'd take that any day over having Jake as my friend, but then again, he won't see me as a friend. I'm just a little wind-up merchant to keep his fire ablaze. My best friend goes to the other high-school in our area... Her name is Leila, but I don't see her as often as I used to, because her older brother (Dominic) went to South Green's Comprehensive, which obviously influenced their mother's decision. It hurt like hell when I found out in Year Six that my best friend was being dragged off to another school, despite the fact we're only fifteen minutes apart. My mum took it pretty hard too. Like I said from the beginning, she needed a neighbour. Similar to me in a way, she had nobody else, because with our Dad constantly working in China, there wasn't any sort of mature figure in her life. My Grandparents (her parents) passed away in an elevator accident. We've never spoke into much detail about the topic, because we were all so close with Nanna and Paps that it feels like a million bullets are shot through my stomach pit whenever I even think of it, but that story is for another time. Mum's getting on well with Lola (the new next door neighbour, also known as Lord Pisshead's mother), but I'd appreciate it if she could keep her distance; any more time spent with the douche was more time I spent living outside of sanity.

"You awake?" A sarcastic, grumble said from beside me, quite abruptly, as he flashed his bright white teeth in my direction. He probably used Colgate. Colgate's nice.

I shot him a confused glance, and folded my arms across my chest.

"Where we going?" I asked, eyebrows furrowed, watching the rest of the class begin to write out sentences about discrimination, as he indicated to the door.

"You really are in a world of you're own, but I don't blame you. If I was a girl, I'd never stop fantasising over me too."

"In your dreams."

"No, in your dreams, Princess." He winked cheekily, holding out his hand, for me to take? Hell no.

I raised my eyebrows and chuckled, pushing his hand away.

"If you think I'm touching you, then you're delusional." I laughed, standing up from my chair.

"You know you want to." He mumbled under his breath, just loud enough for me to hear his irritating tone. Well, his voice is actually really calm and gentle, but he uses it so much it pisses me off a vast majority of the time. Jake and his God damn ego.

I shook his vain comment off, and walked over to the classroom door, still curious as to what we were doing.

"Miss Dakin, I hope you don't mind, but you'll just have to give Mr Hunter here a quick tour of the school, and show him where his classes are, where to get lunch, the activity board, and all of that sorts. I expect you to be back by the end of this lesson in time for the bell." Mr Murphy said, emotionlessly, not looking up from his computer screen.

Great. I had to spend an entire period alone, wandering the corridors of school with the biggest asshole on my acquaintance list- don't worry, he's not on my friends list just yet. He's got a lot of proving to do before that ever happens.
