A/N: This is a filler chapter and I apologise for taking about fifty years to update it. The last chapter was so eventful it was hard to think of what to write next, so I just made a little light-hearted chapter, which is an easy read. Hope you enjoy. Please vote and comment.

Chapter 39: Amy's POV: Unicorn

I fell asleep that night with a smile painted on my face, which didn't vanish even when the sun rose at dawn. To say I'm a sleep fanatic, I found it challenging to drift into a mere doze, let alone genuine slumber. Mind you, all for good reasons. I had a tight knot wound up in my stomach; love sickness, so my mum said.

After Jake and I ordered a taxi home, I burst through the front door in such glee. Ticarra was fast asleep apparently, so I had to try my hardest to minimise the excitement, which was a task in itself. As soon as the door was shut, I was sprinting laps around my kitchen practically screaming at my mum...

"I have a boyfriend!"

Of course, she was thrilled. She adores Jake, even though she's partly blinded by his pleasantly charming facade. It sure took long enough, not that I'm complaining, because it was worth the wait without a doubt. Just the new title I had claimed gave me satisfaction. Girlfriend. I was actually a girlfriend to somebody. I must've been so caught up that I didn't even taunt Jake for letting go of his egotistical ways and breaking the bet, which is very unlike me, but I don't care, I'm not going to bring it up and embarrass him anymore than what he probably already is over the awkward performance last night. It just wasn't our scene.

I told Leila via text message, and she was simply ecstatic. Not surprised, although. She was in on it yesterday, surely.

The following morning, I awoke just as happy as the previous day. I had no clue what was in store for the day, but for all I cared I could be licking the floors of the school toilets and I wouldn't mind. Alright, that's pushing it just a little, but you understand my point hopefully.

I slipped into some loose mom jeans and a plain white tee. Quite a drastic change from last nights attire, but I couldn't wear a fancy evening dress every day of my life, could I? I can just imagine it now. Perched on my sofa, watching America's Next Top Model, eating some greasy food in the most classy outfit I've ever worn.

I didn't have any homework to do for the upcoming week, so I suppose it really was just a lazy Sunday to be spent in an extraordinarily happy mood. Why can't everybody feel this way all the time? The feeling where the only worry they have is if they're going to bust a nerve from smiling so widely. It was amazing.

I often push out my little sister. Not out of spite or intention, just because I have a somewhat busy lifestyle and seeing as though she's just so young, there's not a lot we can do together quite yet to properly bond, but I wanted to make an effort. Therefore, I wandered into Ticarra's bedroom once I was fully dressed. I knocked lightly on the door frame, but there was no answer. Anyway, I crept in slowly and saw her still body tucked into bed. I tapped on her shoulder repeatedly and grinned at her, when her eyes finally fluttered open.

"Amy, why you waking me up?" Ticarra grumbled, squinting at the light.

"Because you, me and Jakey are going out today madam." I said, whipping the duvet from her body.
