I enter chapel, taking my seat at the table. Not going to lie I'm a bit nervous about this vote, knowing it will have mixed emotions. "This evening is to vote for if we should do business with the Galindo Cartel. And let me tell you this, it could benefit us a lot. We get a lot of money from working with them," Clay begins, "So let's start," he finishes. We go around the table starting with Jax. Everyone says yes apart from; Chibs, Piney, Juice, Bobby and Happy. This made it winning six-five, meaning we go ahead with the Galindo Cartel. Clay bangs the gavel on the table, getting up and walking away. I get up from my seat, when Piney stops me from leaving the room.
"I thought you were smarter than this, you and your brother," Piney says sternly, he grips on to my arm. "And we are," I say, since me and Jax are playing along with Clay's game. Piney gives me a disbelief look, "Then why vote for this to happen? You know your father never wanted the drug business for the club," he reminds me. I pull my arm out of his grasp not wanting his first degree. Yes, granted he is like a father to me, but still, I don't want the first degree. "I have my reasons and I am not willing to share them," I tell him. I can tell Piney isn't happy at all with the decision me and Jax made. He loves me really though. I leave chapel. Jax felt a little uneasy about what we voted for.
I walk out the clubhouse altogether and head home. I need to pack if me and the rest of the leads are heading off to Arizona for a few days. I pack Elsie's bag for her, making sure she has everything she needs. Gemma is going to be looking after Elsie for me, whilst me and Chibs are away. Chibs enters the bedroom, I didn't even hear him walk in the house, or pull up outside. "Feeling any better now?" I ask, hearing about how Juice took him to a dispensary for a deep cleanse. "Yeah, I'm okay now," he says. I felt something is up with him as he seemed a bit confused about something. "Anything interesting happening today?" I ask, wondering if I can get it out of him. Chibs sits on the bed, he glances at me, "No, not really, only Juice being taken in by the Sheriff," he tells me. Juice? Of all people why would the Sheriff want him? I place my clothes in to a bag. "That's odd, any reason why?" I ask. Chibs shrugs his shoulders, "Maybe to do with drugs," he says. Sounds about right, Juice does end up hanging around that dispensary a lot. I decide to change the subject to snap him out of his thoughts. "I packed some of mine and your clothes in one bag for this trip, I just didn't think it would be worth the hassle to have two separate bags," I say, "I also did a little bag for Elsie to give my mum," I add whilst smiling. Chibs grins loving how prepared I am, "That's fine," he says not minding that we are sharing a bag. "That's all set for the morning then," I say feeling proud of myself, for being organised. "You want to go order pizza?" he asks not wanting me to cook for us tonight. I think about it, thinking we can do with a lazy night. "Sure, that sounds good," I say going to find the pizza menu. I find it under a coffee mug, I hand it to Chibs.
I walk across the landing over to Elsie's nursery. I am so thankful for Tara bringing her back earlier. I observe Elsie sleeping in her crib, as she sucks her thumb. I turn off the night light, quietly leaving the nursery. I make my way downstairs and sit myself down on the sofa, seeing Chibs is looking over the menu on the phone. "She go off to sleep okay?" he asks. I smile and nod my head loving how Chibs asks about our daughter. "Fast asleep, she is so peaceful," I say. Chibs grins at that, having infinite love for his little girl. "Oh bless, so what pizza you want?" he asks. I look through the menu, reminding myself of which one it is I liked best. "I would like the meat feast one, with olives," I tell him. I love olives on my pizza. "Okay, that's fine," he says as he rings up the pizza place and orders our food.
The call ends and we begin the waiting game. "What would you like to watch?" I ask, grabbing the remote. "Not sure, what's good on?" he asks. I turn the tv on and flick through the channels finding out for myself what is on. "How about this," I say leaving on the first thing that popped on the screen. Chibs grins, "Sure," he says not minding. He loves this time with me, just the two of us. A few minutes later, the doorbell goes, signalling that the pizza has arrived. Chibs shuffles himself off the sofa, he grabs the pizza from the door, tipping the delivery driver. He closes the door and comes back in to the living room, where he places the pizza on the coffee table. "Wow this looks lovely," I say as I cozy back up to him and begin to eat pizza.
