It's been almost a week since me and Jackie expressed our feelings for each other. Things between us were going amazing and the team has been growing together great, honestly life was amazing right now. Right now I was getting ready to head out to the gym and get some shots up because our first official game of the season is tomorrow. I'm mad hyped but also nervous at the same time because it would be my first time playing with my teammates in a real game. After I finished making my pre workout drink I head out the door down to my parking garage. Once I was on the road vibing out to my music I got interrupted by a facetime from "mi baby🙈❤️🩹"
I answered the call propping my phone up. "Hi beautiful" I said with a genuine smile on my face. "Hey baby, where you going?" she asked as she saw I was driving. "I'm just going to the gym to get some shots up and do a quick little workout" I replied. "Oh ok, don't go to hard though boo cause we still have a game tomorrow" she said in a motherly tone making me laugh. "I know miss I be in the gym for 6 hours a day isn't talking about take it easy" I joked. "Not to much on me, I just like to stay grinding" she said poking her tongue out. We talked on the phone for about 8 more minutes before I pulled into the parking lot.
"Ight ma I just got to the gym but i'll text you when I get out". "Ok baby just call me later tonight i'll be waiting for you" she said smirking. "Girl you better stop before I pull up to your house" I said being so deadass. "Please do daddy I would love that actually". This girl is really about to make me risk it all. I shook my head before saying "bye Jack" and hanging up the phone. "What am I going to do with that girl?" I asked as I walked into the gym.

It's game day! Yesterday I said I was nervous but i'm just mad hyped today. We're playing against the Lynx today. No shade but their not necessarily competition against our stacked team. Right now i'm on my way to the arena. I pulled up into the team parking lot before walking up to the doors and buzzing in. As I was walking down the hall to the lockeroom I seen Kris. "Can we get a quick littler picture y/nn?" he as politely. "Yeah fasho" I said as I started doing quick poses.

"Thanks y/nn" he said smiling. "No problem make sure you send me them" I said as I continued walking. As I walked closer to the locker room the louder the voices got. As I walked in I was met with very loud greetings. "Ah shit now Y/n the lion in the house yall!" Chelsea exclaimed as I laughed at her weird nickname she gave me. "Whats good y/nn" Syd and KB said as they dapped me up. I walked over to my locker putting my stuff down and getting changed into my uniform then putting my warm ups on top.
As I was chilling on my phone getting locked in I heard the ugliest scream that sounded like a dying raccoon. I looked up seeing it was just A'ja reacting to Jackie entering into the room. "Heyyy Jackie boo!" she said giving the shorter girl a hug. I looked her up and down in such amazement.
