Dejà Vu; Chapter 11

Mabels POV

me and Dipper slowly turned our heads to see a blonde haired girl standing a few metres away from us with a polite smile on her face

she said hi to us probably not realising that she knew who we were until she opened up her eyes fully

"Mabel, Dipper.. wait your the neighbours who just moved in?!"

me and Diper both nodded our heads

there was an awkward silence for a few minutes until our mom came in and offered us some snacks

I decided the best place to talk would be in me and Dippers room so I suggested we should go upstairs instead

Pacificas POV

all I could think about was how Mabel and Dipper were my neighbours

I mean how could that possibly be?

anyways I should probably follow them to their room

there house was similar to my house except their bedroom was on the left whilst mine was on the right and some of the walls were a different colour to mine but other than that it's was an exact replica of my house

"And this our room! You can sit on my bed" Mabel said then pointed her her colourful 80's inspired bed

"oh ok thanks" I replied

*awkward silence*

"so why'd you move here Pacifica, I thought your parents would move somewhere much more fancier-" Mabel said with a 'fake' confusion voice

"What Mabel means is ummm.."
Dipper said

i quickly realised that Dipper probably told Mabel some of our messages we've been sending each other... or Mabel snoops around when she's bored

I decided to break the awkwardness by saying that its fine and that we moved because of financial issues and that Monterey was the best place to settle for now

hopefully that made the air a bit more clearer

Me, Dipper and Mabel then just chatted about random stuff for a while before I heard my parents saying that we're leaving now

"oh I think i need to go now but hey maybe you guys could come over mine sometime" I said as I got off of Mabel's bed

"Yeh that'll be fine" Dipper said

Mabel hugged me and said that we should hang out more this summer to hopefully *recover* our messy friendship

I said that would be nice and then Mabel ran to their Mom after she said she needed help in the kitchen

Then it was just Me and Dipper in the room

"Can't keep a secret can you?" I said

"Mabel would've found out sooner or later" Dipper said whilst rubbing his head

"yeah anyways wanna hang out more this summer since we're neighbours and all?" I replied

"yeh that'll be fun, also where are you going to school after sumer?" Dipper asked

"I've been homeschooling and tutored this year but hopefully after summer I'll go to a public school"

"cool cause me and Mabel are basically suffering in our school, last week there was a fight and the teachers had no clue what to do so we just stood there for 10 minutes whilst these to people where fighting over who got a higher score in the math test...pretty dumb but yeh, just wondering cause having you around might make it easier"

"Look Dipper I know we've had our differences but hopefully my parents will put me in the same school your going to and hopefully we can become better friends than last year" I said

"yeh that sounds nice, anyways I think you really have to go now" Dipper said whilst pointing down from the window to my parents whi were already at my house

"Oh yeah well see you later" I said with a smile

"See you later Pacifica" Dipper replied

*A FEW HOURS LATER*

Dippers POV

It was around 2pm a few hours since Pacifica came over and we found out she was our neighbours

wow isn't it strange how things work

I saw Mabel on her side of the room starting to knit a sweater for Pacifica

it was hot pink with a 'P' on it in light pink

"Wait till Pacifica sees this Dipper she will have her mind blown" Mabel said

"Yeah her mind will be blown by it" I replied

I decided to then message Pacifica since I was bored

weird I was bored on the first day of summer
I. mean it's been a whole year since me and Mabel arrived at Gravity falls but now we're in Monterey

I wonder what adventures we will encounter here
