Elise and Emery's First Birthday!; Chapter 46

Pacificas POV

finally the day had come it was the 9th of December which means that it was the twins birthday

I think they're excited...I mean I hope their excited

we decided to have the party at the home just to be safe

we had all the decor out and all the balloons everywhere

"Hey Pacifica, do you need any more balloons?" Mabel asked me from the living room

"Um, I think 50 balloons is enough."

"ok then!"

now it's just time to wake up the twins

*10 minutes later*

"You wake up, Emery, and I'll wake up, Elise," I told Dipper from outside their room

"OK, on the count of three...three...two....one-" Dipper said before getting cut off by one of them crying

We went inside to see Mabel awake with both twins, and Emery was crying

"... sorry, i couldn't help it,"

"its fine, but how did you make them cry?" I asked Mabel

"Long story short, I guess babies don't like to be awaken by their almost aunt screaming... singing happy birthday,"

"ok then, we'll let's just get them downstairs and start the celebrating," I said before we took the
twins downstairs and showed them the living room full of balloons and birthday celebrations

"I think they like it," Mabel said

"Well, that's ok," I said back

A few minutes later, a few of our friends came around with their children, and we all celebrated

Mabel's POV

I was just hanging around whilst everyone was talking until a tall parent of a child came to me and started some light conservation with me

"Hey, are you related to Pacifica?"

"Umm, I'm the sister of her fiance,"

"Oh hey, I like your sweater," she said to me

"Thanks, I hand made it...aw look at your little one walking."

"Yeah, he's been doing that for a while now...First time we tried to get a picture, he just fell on his face,"

"Oh ooh owch"

"Yeah, but he was fine after... Do you have any of your own?"

"uh..no" I said to her

there was an awkward silence until she said

"Yeah, I see why you choose not to they are a handful,"

"Yeah... yeah," I said

"Anywyas- oh, sorry, let me just grab my little one before he attacks someone."

"Oh ok," I said before she went and took care of her baby

that reminded me of how I needed to check on Sage... don't ask why

*Mabel calls Sage*

May: Hey Sage, how are you?

Sage: I'm fine. Hey, how's the party going

May: Amazing. Well, I witnessed like one baby fight, but other than that, it's been fine

Sage:...ok, I can see that happening

May: yeah anyways how's Vancouver?

Sage: it's very cold here but manageable and I should be there for the wedding a week in advance

May: Cool anyways, I gotta go. I think Paz is signalling me to come to her...or there's a fly she can't get rid of

Sage: Oh ok, see you

May: Definitely signalling me anyways I'll see you

Sage: ok, bye, have fun

May: Bye

*Call ends*

I made way through the living room into the kitchen where Paz was waving to me to come

"Hey, you OK, Pacifica?" I asked her

"uh...yeah first could you put the chips on the table?"

"Yeah, sure, are you sure you're OK?"

"Yeah, I'll tell you after."

"ok," I said, then went to the living room and put the chips onto the table, and went back to Pacifica

when I got back, she pulled out her phone and showed me something

"Really?" I asked her

she nodded in response
