7th month: Chapter 31

Pacifica's POV

7 months done, and wow, I've changed a lot

...such as I....

ok, fine. i haven't done anything different over the last few months

but I do know how to make a pizza now

...that's counts, right?

anyways today, I decided to play some Taylor Swift

especially for the babies

...I wanna raise them to one of the most powerful female musicians

her and Melanie Martinez, obviously

I decided to buy some of those headphones where you can put it on your stomach so your children can hear the music as well

I got it from Amazon

I paid 20 dollars for it, but it came with free shipping, so I can't argue

"ok, little ones ready to hear some music?"

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"uh really....Dipper can you get it?"

"No, kinda busy."

oh yay, let the tired woman who has to carry to children get the door

....

I went to the door and opened it to reveal a box outside that said 'open at 12:24pm'

"Hmm."

I checked the time to see it was exactly 12:24pm

"I better open it now,"

I took the package inside and opened it to reveal a singular note inside

"Wow, i guess this note needed air to breathe,"

I took the note out and read it

it said

'Lilacs are purple, the sky is bright, I love you so much, so meet me tonight'

"Aw, that's sweet."

I then put the note to one side and saw something else in the box

it was a bouquet of flowers with a smaller note on them

'meet me where these flowers were picked from'

it took me a minute to realise that the flowers were picked from a small field a few miles away

"I guess you two can listen to Taylor later," i said to my stomach

Mabel's POV

I tried to get my mind off of Sage leaving in a few months, but it was no use since she was going to leave whether I liked it or not

besides that, i helped Dipper with a date idea he had for Pacifica

that's the only reason I left the house today was to deliver that box to their house

I almost got the wrong house until I saw random people coming out of it and had to grab the box and run

hopefully, I didn't look like I was stealing their package...

anyways I had nothing to do all day, so I decided to take a walk

just a nice peaceful walk.

just me. alone.

I would ask Sage to come with me, but I thought to clear my mind, I should just go on my own

Pacifica's POV

it was around 7 pm. when I decided to head for the fields

it was bright enough to see the path whilst i was walking, and I decided to bring the flowers with me

it was a nice little nostalgia feeling looking at these flowers

they reminded me of that time Dipper and I were taking a walk and decided to take a shortcut

long story short, we got lost and needed up in an open field where all these flowers were

they're roses that had a full luscious red colour

I don't know why I find them my favourites, but I just do

I finally made it to the field and didn't see anyone here

"Is this some kind of joke?"

Dipper's POV

I snuck up behind Pacifica and tapped her on the shoulder

"boo,"

"For some reason, I had an idea that was going to happen," Pacifica said

"So, do you like the flowers?"

"they're really sweet...and I really miss coming to this field,"

"Yeah, it's been long since we've been here," I said

"But it hasn't changed one bit," Pacifica said to me

"Neither have you."

"aww Dipper you're so sweet."

"Pacifica, from the day I met you, I saw you as an arrogant enemy to me and Mabel."

"Is this going anywhere good?"

"But... I saw you change into this person with a fufiling heart,"

"aww that's so nice."

Mabels POV

I was still on my walk and came across this field

I decided to go around the edge of it

"Hmm, this is very boring -"

I looked to my left and saw Dipper and Pacifica

"AAAAHH!"
I couldn't help but scream in happiness

then they looked at me

"Is that Mabel?" Pacifica said from a distance

I quickly hid behind a bush

"Anyways, what were you going to ask me, Dipper?" I heard Pacifica say

"....I heard of this new restaurant nearby"

"ooh let's go,"

I came out of the bush when they left and couldn't help but feel guilty

I didn't mean to ruin their date...especially their proposal

Dipper did mention to me how he wanted to ask Pacifica an important question

I went home feeling that sense of guilt

kinda like when you eat the last slice of cake and lie and say that your pig ate it

then your parents take your pig to the vet cause they can't have chocolate

off topic, but still

I decided to call Sage about this

....

"I don't know, I just feel bad,"

"Hey, I feel like I've ruined more things than you can imagine."

"Yeah, I guess."

"Did I tell you about that cat?"

"haha yeah..well I'll call you later,"

"See you, Mabel."

"Bye Sage"

*Call ends*

hmm, well, at least if they did propose, I would be there as the witness...
