Pacifica's POV

A few weeks ago I 'accidently' won a free date with Dipper

...

and that's not the worst part.

the date is exactly on HIS birthday

31 August.

we have school the following day where I'll be attending a public school

but still

how this happened, I still don't know.

Dippers POV

Me and Mabels' birthday was coming up soon, so I had we had to prepare

Mabel has been buying decorations and had the whole day planned out

except for...I has a date with Pacifica

that is if she still wanted to go out with me

"Dipper!" Mabel said as she barged into our door

"Yes, Mabel?" I asked her

"Can't you believe our birthdays just in 2 days? Aah, I can't wait for you to see the organised plan I had ready for us!"

"Wow,and normally it's me who has the plan," i said back

"ok, let me show you - oops, wrong one," Mabel said as she pulled out a piece of paper with mine and Pacifica's name on it

"Mabel, what's that-"

"Oh nothing...heres the birthday one!"

"ok."

"Wow, you're boring, anyways because we're turning 14 thus year. I thought we'll celebrate in a fun way first we'll -"

"Mabel, remember I still have a date with Pacifica... I think"

"EEEKKK, IM SO EXCITED FOR THAT!" Mabel said

"I know, but that means that I'll probably not be home for a couple of hours," I said back

Mabel face dropped, and she looked at me

"Oh yeah, well, we can at least do half of the things I planned like the piñatas and the presents and the"

"Mabel, we've had every birthday together just relax this one a bit" I said

Mabel nodded her head and left the room slowly

I kinda felt.bad but that plan had so much glitter on it it even made me stress

and on top of that plan I still had to text Pacifica to see if we were still going out on that date

I guess I'll just wait until I turn-

14 missed calls from Pacifica?

*A FEW HOURS LATER*

(Dipper and Pacifica are on a call to eachother)

Dip: Sorry I had my phone on do not disturb I didn't see it was on that for the 50th time

Paz: ok I get it but still what if I was in an emergency?

Dip: Pacifica was calling me to remind me that we have a date in 2 days time really necessary and how it was all an accident?

Paz: yes just to be clear I thought I was winning a...object prize....not a date one and also I didn't even know who Melanie Martinez was either until last week

Dip: trust me Mabel will find your Pinterest board and see you've known Melanie for so much longer

Paz: what?

Dip: Mabel somehow knows how to 'find' someone she knows in real life online and... wow its sounds bad

Paz: ok besides that...IT was all an accident and I didn't even say your name on the radio

Dip: how would I know if you said my name on the radio

Paz:...because......wait how did you know I asked you out on a date?

Dip: well you technically didn't ask until now

Paz:.. right just shut up and meet me in two days by the local cafe

Dip: why don't you just cancel the reservation-

Paz: because a free meal for two people is two hard to pass on ok I'm hanging up now anyways...and tell Mabel to not look for my pinterest

Dip: ok bye then

Paz: bye

Pacificas POV

it was finally their birthday

Well not until tommorow but technically today marks the last official day I saw them before leaving Gravity Falls and then I saw them months later here

I still had to get Dipper a present and trust me I am not kissing him in public

anyways for Mabel I got her a sweater I tried to knit

..look I said I tried but if trying is ordering a cheap looking sweater for amazon that LOOKS handmade then yes...I tried

I heard my phone ringing and answered it

it was dipper

*ON CALL WITH DIPPER*

Paz: Hey Dipper

Dip: Hey Pacifica...I have some news

Paz: what is it?

Dip: we have to-

Paz: did something happen to you

Dip: no its just-

Paz: DID YOU EAT OU OF DATE FOOD-

Dip:...what do you think?

Paz: DIPPER I TOLD YOU-

Dip: PACIFICA OBVIOUSLY I DIDNT EAT ANY OUT OF DATE FOOD

Paz: oh ok what's the news then

Dip: Me and Mabel are travelling to Gravity falls for our birthday..

Paz:... so does that mean you'll have to cancel on our plans then?

Dip: look its only for today and tommorow and well come back on the 1st of sept

Paz: oh ok well I guess I'll just give the free date to someone else then

Dip: Hey maybe another time

Paz: yeah

Dip: well see you in September

Paz: wow ok see you in September

*Call ends*

so I guess I'm not going in that date but that's fine

I guess another time

I would beg my parents to take me back to gravity falls but all thay would say would be how dangerous it would be

I guess I'll see him in September

it's just 2 days
