First week of Summer; Chapter 12

Mabels POV

Ah, finally, summer began

it was the second day of summer, and the heat was already melting into our house

"Mabel, Dipper, there's someone at the door for you!" Our Mom shouted from downstairs

I went downstairs whilst putting on my sweater with a sun on it and decided to open the door

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Coming!" I said

I opened the door to see Pacifica there standing with a tray full of sugarcoated cookies

"Hey, do you wanna hang out with me today...I have some cookies I made and we can have some?" Pacifica said

"AAAH YES of course!" I said with excitement

I then led her inside and she put the tray of cookies onto the kitchen table

"WANNA GO TO MY ROOM..OR WE CAN GO OUTSIDE OOOH I SAW A PATH NEARBY THAT COULD LEAD TO SOMEWHERE MYSTERIOUS!" I said with excitement

"umm.. anythings fine with me" Pacifica replied

I decided we should go to my room since I could finally give her the sweater I made for her

Pacifica's POV

Me and Mabel were going to her room but whilst we were walking up the stairs i was wondering where Dipper was

"You OK Paz?"
Mabel asked me

"Paz?" I said with a questioning voice

"Paz. Basically just a shortened nickname for you if your OK with that?" Mabel said

My mind was still wondering where Dipper was but I just said yes to Mabel and we finally made it her and Dipper's room

Mabels POV

We finally made it to the room but Pacifica's face look worried with curiosity

wonder what she was thinking about?

anyways I asked if she wanted to do anything specific but she just said she didn't mind so I decided to give her the hot pink sweater with a "P" on it

"sooo what do you think? I think it looks good on you!" I said to Pacifica

"uh thanks" she said back

Dippers POV

I walked into me and Mabel's room just to grab something and then I saw Pacifica

"Dipper look I gave Pacifica the sweater I made for her doesn't she look so pretty! " Mabel said with a smile on her face

"Oh hi Pacifica" I said

"Yeh Mabel's right you do look nice in that sweater....anyways Mabel have you seen my-"

"What about we all go to the path I was talking about!?" Mabel said before i could finish my sentence

"umm sure as long as its fine with Pacific-"

"Umm actually I have to go home now" Pacifica said before getting up from Mabel's bed and heading to the door

"Oh ok maybe next time Paz!" Mabel said to Pacifica

*awkward silence whilst Pacifica is heard walking down the stairs*

"Dipper could you make sure she's OK she kinda left in a rush" Mabel asked

"Why don't you go and check on her?" I said back

"Cause what if it was me who made her upset.....come on Dip just this once?" Mabel practically begged

"OK fine but just this once" I said
