Arien wakes up off the floor. His mouth was dry. It was weird. He rubbed his eyes, scratching his face as his phone buzzed, he groaned and looked at it.

A text from his new manager, "Holla Wáy"
He'd gotten a job at a cafe down town from his place of residence, a cat cafe at that. It was pretty nice gig all things considered, Arien was just awful at being a human being,

He was constantly late,
Unprofessional,
and didn't know how to take care of himself.

But if nothing else taking care of cats and helping cook all day was nice.

'You've got closing shift tonight' the message read,

Arien didn't bother replying, it was a Thursday and Ahiko was on his way over.
Arien sat up in his dark living room with a yawn. He knew he probably had to change today, doing laundry was new for him.
Not like he smelt or anything, but you get quite a few stares when you don't change the shirt you're wearing.

Regardless he walked to the stairs in the house and stared at them blankly.
He was going to have to go in that room and find something different to wear, the hoodie and few t shirts he had weren't an amazing cycle.

He walked up the steps slowly

Creak...
Bff..
Bfff...

The sound of his socks on the carpet was a loud one in his mind.
He opened the door to the dark room, he walked in and held him breath, he didn't even want to see the clothes she had worn.
He just opened the closet door and searched through things he very much didn't want to wear.
He couldn't find anything...

He was too overwhelmed to keep searching,
He closed both the doors and walked out,
It was....
Anxiety inducing.
What was he going to do..?

Knock knock knock
Arien blinks and yells, "I'll be there in a sec hold on..!" He said, running back to the living room, grabbing his hoodie and throwing it on over his white tee he had on, he slid on his slides and answered the door.
Just who he thought.

"Yo." Arien Said

"Hi!" Ahiko smiled happily,

"Where you want to go today?" Arien asked walking out and closing the door behind him,

"Hmmm, how about we look somewhere down town?"

"Again?"

"Why not?"

In all honestly arien didn't want to run into his boss, and apparently it was readable on his face,

"You got another job down there didn't you?"

"Ah-!" Arien's eyes went wide,

"Heh," Ahiko smiled, "im glad!"

"Oh quiet..." Arien huffed, "let's just go,"

"Where's off limits?"

"Glaive's cat cafe...." Arien mumbled, upset that somehow the dullest tool in the shed figured out he had a new job.

"Ok!" Ahiko smiled

Honestly Arien had been warming up to Ahiko, but with that warming up he came to the realization that more or less Ahiko wasn't the brightest. That was fine of course, he's his tutor for a reason.
The two started walking downtown, rather than the library they looked at quiet coffee shops and cafes to study in, it was their thing to explore and find somewhere new to do things in. They still went to the library from time to time though.

Arien was quiet walking, he'd gotten to know Ahiko well enough to walk comfortably in silence with the kid, but a conversation found itself starting anyway.
