Riku screamed right in your face when you told him the news. He needed to hear the whole story from start to end and he made it very clear that you couldn't leave out any of the details.
"Shut up," you told him, trying to be nonchalant about the whole thing.
"You know damn well you want to tell me."
You rolled your eyes but smiled.
"Fine!"
Riku took your hands in his and you both squealed, ignoring all the strange looks people were giving you.So you told him the whole story, from start to finish. How you did the big reveal. How he called you. How he looked so cute and nervous. How he kissed you.
"I'm gonna start crying," he said, wiping invisible tears from his eyes.
"I just can't beleive it's real. Dude, I have a boyfriend!" You both squealed once more.
"You're not bitchless!" Said Riku.
"Who would have thought?"
"Not me!"
"Hey."
"Sorry.""Nah you're right," you laughed. "This feels like a dream. Ew. Is that cringe?"
"Not at all, ugh I'm so happy for you! And now I can update my fic."
You froze. "What?""I already told you about that, didn't I?"
"Well yeah but I didn't think you were still doing it!"
Riku shrugged. "Welp."
"I hate you."
Riku just giggled in response.***
Kuroo woke up at 6:15 am as he did every morning to get ready for practice. Only this morning, Kuroo was acting a little different.
He walked around in a daze and everyone noticed. His family wondered if he'd been hit in the head but this wasn't the case.
Kuroo was simply drunk on love.
He hadn't even attempted to tame his bed head, it stuck out in all directions and his family noticed his tracksuit had been put on messily too.But what really stuck out to everyone in his household, was the smile he was wearing on his face. It would drop for a moment, and then as if he was remembering a happy moment (he was) he'd perk up again and that smile would be plastered right back on his face.
Flowers were practically floating in the air around him. It seemed as if he was walking on clouds.
In the kitchen where he got his bag ready for school, his family members stared at him trying to figure out what had happened to him.
"Maybe it's drugs?" His grandpa whispered to his dad. Then it clicked.
"No," his dad chuckled, "Well at least not a harmful drug." He winked.
"Huh?"
He rolled his eyes. "Never mind."As Kuroo was about to walk out the door, his dad realised something.
"Uh, Kuroo!"
"Hm?" He smiled dopily over at his father.
"Your lunch."
"Oh," he laughed, "Yeah." Humming, Kuroo grabbed his lunch and left without saying goodbye which he never did. Something had definitely changed."What a weird kid," said his grandpa.
***
At practice, Kuroo was acting even more unusual. He was calm as always, but a little too calm. He was so chill and casual that he was barely even listening to anyone, stuck in his own little world.
And he was smiling, laughing to himself slightly the entire time.
His teammates stared at him wondering what the hell was going on. Where was there annoying ass captain that gave them pep talks and had a little too much energy during the mornings?
"Hey, Kenma. You know what's going on with Mr. Drool over there?" Yaku asked.
"He's just a lovesick fool. Gross." He fake gagged and walked away. Then, once Kuroo touched his lips and giggled, it was Yaku's last straw.
"Dude, you're starting to really creep me out. What the hell has gotten into you?" He confronted him."Huh?" Kuroo blinked. "What did I do?"
"What's going on? You've been nothing but smiley and...and...weird!"
"I'm smiley."
"Not like this you aren't. What's going on?"Kuroo thought of you just as he'd been doing all morning. Fuck you were so amazing. He wanted to scream.
"Nothing," he ended up saying.
"Nothing?"
"Yup."
"Well then, stop being weird!" Yaku said and stormed away.Kuroo had said this since he still didn't know if you wanted to tell people. He needed to check with you first. He couldn't wait to see you. How long was it till break?

Like always, you and Riku sat in the library during lunch with your little lunchboxes. Not many people ate in the library since they thought it probably wasn't allowed but no one had ever told you off so why would you stop?
Within a few minutes, Kenma joined the both of you followed shortly by Kuroo. When he saw you, his eyes lit up and you swore you could see real hearts in his eyes. Freak.
"Look who's excited to see you." Riku whispered over the table, teasing. You kicked him in the shin as Kuroo sat down next to you.
"Hey." He smiled at you.
"Sup...bro."
You could feel Riku and Kenma cringe and wanted to punch them both."I can't watch this. We're leaving. Kenma?"
Without resistance, Kenma got up and left with Riku. Who knew where they were going but screw them because they left you alone with Kuroo and your heart was pumping like crazy."Woah," you said, finally noticing his appearance. He was a mess. A cute mess, but a mess. "What's going on with your hair? And why are you staring at me like that?"
"Like what?"
"Like...that," you said, waving your hand in his face. He was looking at you adoringly you realised. He chuckled. "I'm just happy to see you."
"I saw you yesterday," you said, and at the very mention of that day Kuroo blushed."Hey uh...I have a question," he said.
"What is it?"
"Can we like...tell people? About us."
"Uh yeah? I don't have a problem with it."
"Okay, cool." He smiled again. You wanted to slap him he was so cute.
"Oh and I was also wondering...would you like to go on a date on Saturday?"
This would be your first date if you said yes. Holy fuck. Holy fuck. Holy fuck. What do people do on dates? They hold hands, right? They go see like movies and shit?
"Y/n? You okay?"
"Uh yeah, let's do that."
"You sure?"
"Yep."
"Okay." He smiled again. You paused for a moment and stared at him as he stared back.
"Are your buttons done up wrong too?"
He looked down at his shirt. "Shit."To be continued...
