In science class, you awkwardly greeted Kuroo as he sat down next to you. He smiled.
"Hey," he said back. "I um...so I've got something to tell you."
You already knew what he was going to say. It was about the training camp but you weren't supposed to know. He only told the mystery girl which was you but obviously he didn't know that.
"I've got this training camp," he said. He went on to explain how he'd be gone for a week and you'd be alone to finish the project. You tried your best to act like this was the first time hearing the news.
"That's okay," you told him. "I can finish it."
Kuroo smiled looking relieved. "OK, cool."

After the text conversation with Riku, you flopped down on your bed with a sigh, thinking of Kuroo's face. He was damn pretty and it pissed you off. You wanted to gag at yourself for feeling these things but you couldn't help it.
He really was an amazing guy. Not many people were able to cheer you up but Kuroo could. That day when you two got ice cream after your mother made you feel like nothing, you didn't think you'd be able to smile for the rest of the night. But Kuroo got it out of you. Even when you were feeling so damn horrible, he could make you smile.
Fuck, and he was so respectful too! Why were there so many great things about him? Why did he have to be so kind? Why did he have to be so pretty? It was making you go insane. All that you were feeling felt like it would burst out of your chest. Had you ever felt something so strong before?
It was like a pulling. As if some invisible string were attached to you and was pulling you closer toward him. You wanted so badly to shout from a rooftop how much you liked him but if you were to do that, you'd probably then jump off said rooftop immediately after.
"God, this is embarrassing," you whined, slapping your hand over your face. "I hate him." No you didn't.
