The room was beautifully decorated, with different scents of perfume filling the air. It was like a little oasis, a place of peace and relaxation. She took a deep breath, inhaling the different scents. There was something so comforting about the smell of lavender, jasmine, and rose. It was like a little piece of home, a reminder of the things
Joy was sitting in the room with her friend, Noelle, chatting away. Noelle turned to her and asked, "That reminds me, when are you returning home?"
"I'm still thinking about it, I'm not sure what to do."
"Don't forget that you have a fiancé back at home, He must be worried sick about you."
Joy sighed. "I know. That's the main reason I don't want to go back. His kids are monsters."
"What do you mean?" Noelle asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"You see, his three kids are really wicked and monstrous, The funny part is that they didn't like me from the very beginning."
"Then you have to try harder to make them like you, Maybe they just need time to warm up to you."
"I've tried everything, but they just don't like me, I don't know what else to do." Joy said, her shoulders sagging in defeat.
"That's why you should go back, If you keep showing them love, they might eventually come around."
"Okay, I'll start packing my bags. We can leave tomorrow."
Noelle smiled, relieved that Joy had come to her senses. "That's the spirit!" she said, giving Joy a hug. "Everything will be okay, you'll see."
Joy returned the hug, feeling a small glimmer of hope. "Thanks, Noelle. I really appreciate your support."
EMMA POV:
Since the incident, I had been avoiding Mr. Ryan Gosling like the plague. I didn't take coffee to his room anymore, and I was too shy to even show my face to him. I had been serving his meals before he came back to the house, and it had been three days since I had seen him. But luck was not on my side, and I knew my luck would run out eventually.I was walking out of the kitchen when I saw him standing in the doorway.
"Good evening, sir," I said, my voice shaking.
"Hi, I was just getting some apples."
I nodded, trying to keep my composure. I turned to leave, but he caught my hand.
"Please stop avoiding me, It's breaking my heart to see you avoiding me like this."
I looked up at him, our eyes meeting. I didn't know what to say. I was at a loss for words.
"You see, what happened that night is in the past, So you should stop avoiding me. Okay?"
He winked at me and left, and my heart stopped. I couldn't believe what had just happened.
"Oh, Jesus," I muttered to myself as I rushed to my room. "I think I'm falling in love with Mr. Ryan Gosling."
I jumped onto my bed, feeling like a teenager with a crush. I couldn't believe what was happening. I had never been so infatuated with anyone before. I felt like a little girl again, with a schoolgirl crush. But this was real life, not some fantasy.
I laid there, staring up at the ceiling, my mind racing with thoughts and emotions. I had no idea what to do next. I just knew that I couldn't keep avoiding Mr Ryan Gosling
RYAN POV:
I decided to go to the sitting room to meet the kids to continue our movie marathon. I didn't go to the kitchen to get any apples. I saw Emma, and I realized that was why I went there in the first place. I felt a sense of happiness and relief, knowing that I had asked her to stop avoiding me.I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I knew that things were going to be okay between us. I just had to give it time. Maybe with time, we could become friends. Or maybe even more than friends. But I didn't want to get ahead of myself.
As we were watching the movie, the door suddenly opened and Joy walked in.
"Joy!" I said, surprised to see her.
"Yes, darling, Did you miss me?"
The kids were frozen, unable to move. They just stared at her, their eyes wide.
"Hey, kids, I'm back!"
