RYAN POV:
"Didn't you miss me at all?" Joy asked"Of course I did, I was just surprised to see you here."
"Then come give me a hug," she said, her arms open wide.
I got up and moved towards her, wrapping my arms around her."Kids," she said, turning to them. "Won't you at least say hello?"
"Hi," they muttered, before scurrying off to their room.
"I guess your kids still don't like me," Joy said
"They're just surprised to see you,I'm sure they'll warm up to you eventually."
"I don't think so, I think they just don't like me."
"See, Forget about them. So, when did you arrive?"
"Just now, And guess what? I'm spending a week with you here." she said, a smile on her face
"Oh, That's great!"
"Are you not happy about that?" she asked
"Of course I am, I'm just a bit surprised, that's all."
As she leaned forward to kiss me, Emma walked into the room, and she looked shocked and surprised.
"Who is this?" Joy asked, turning to me with a questioning look on her face.
"This is Emma, She's been helping me with the kids while you've been away."
"Oh, I didn't realize you had hired someone to help you." Joy said looking a bit uncomfortable
I could tell she was feeling a bit awkward, and I didn't know what to say to make her feel better. I could tell she was jealous,
EMMA POV:
I was in my room when I heard some noise coming from downstairs. I walked down to see what was going on, and I saw Mr. Ryan Gosling and his fiancee. He introduced us to each other, and I'll admit, I felt a twinge of jealousy. I had spent so much time with Mr. Gosling, and now here was this woman, standing next to him like she owned the place. I tried to keep my cool, but inside, I was seething with jealousy."So, what did you want?" she asked, looking at me quizzically.
"I'm sorry, I thought the kids were causing trouble again, but it seems everything is okay."
I started to leave, not wanting to make the situation any more awkward than it already was. I felt bad about the whole thing, but I didn't know what else to say. I just wanted to get out of there.
As I walked out of the room, I felt a mix of emotions: sadness, hurt, and jealousy. A tear formed in my eye, and I wiped it away quickly. "I shouldn't be jealous," I said to myself. "I'm not his wife. He doesn't owe me anything."
I entered my room and sat on the floor, trying to process my feelings.
"I love him, It hurts to see him with someone else. But what can I do? She's his woman now. But it still hurts."
I felt like I was spiraling, my thoughts and emotions swirling around me. I couldn't seem to control them, no matter how hard I tried. I just wanted the pain to stop, but I didn't know how to make it go away.
RYAN POV:
As soon as Emma left, Joy turned to me, a look of curiosity on her face."She lives here?" she asked, her voice curious.
"I told you, she's my kids' nanny,"
"I don't like her, I think you should change her."
"But you barely know her, Give her a chance."
"I don't want to," she said, crossing her arms.
"Then will you be my kids' nanny?" I asked
She looked at me with a look of incredulity. "Hell no! I'm your fiancee!"
"Then please leave Emma alone,She's not hurting anyone."
"But seeing her here is annoying, I really don't like her. Please fire her."
"I'm sorry, but I can't fire her, She's starting to get along with my kids. If I fired her, where would I find another nanny like her?"
"If you don't fire her, our relationship is over, choose one our relationship or you fire her " she said She turned and walked away, leaving me to process her ultimatum.
I felt like I was being backed into a corner. I didn't want to lose her, but I also didn't want to fire Emma. I felt like I was being forced to choose between two people I cared about, and I didn't know what to do. I stood there, frozen, not knowing what to say or do next.............
