THE NANNY

SHE IS MY WIFE :

"Where is the nanny?" George asked, looking around the room.

"Dad fired her," Evelyn replied

"What? Why?" Olivia asked, her voice full of surprise.

"I don't know, Maybe you should ask Dad about it."

George and Olivia looked at each other, their eyes full of questions. What had happened to make their dad fire the nanny?

EMMA POV:
I knocked on the door and Mia opened it, her face a mask of concern.

"Emma! You're soaked. What happened?" she asked.

I couldn't speak, the tears pouring down my face. I just shook my head and stumbled inside, collapsing onto the couch.

Mia sat down next to me, her hand on my shoulder. "Emma, what's going on? Please tell me."

"He fired me. He broke up with me," I sobbed, the words tumbling out of my mouth.

"What? Why?"

I pulled out my phone and showed her the video. "I didn't want to do it, I swear, He pressured me, and I just... I didn't know what to do."

Mia's eyes widened as she watched the video, her face growing more and more horrified with each passing second. When it ended, she looked at me.

"Wait, Emma, did you kiss Harrison?"

"The last thing I remember was him giving me a drink,And then I was so tired, and he was so insistent, and I just couldn't... I couldn't fight him off."

Tears were streaming down my face now, and I could barely get the words out.

Mia's expression was one of shock and horror. "Oh, Emma. That's..."

"Mia, please believe me, nothing happened, I tried to push him away, but I was too weak. I'm so sorry."

Mia's arms wrapped around me, and she pulled me close. "It's okay, Emma, It's not your fault. You have nothing to be sorry for."

I buried my face in her shoulder, sobbing. I felt safe in her embrace, and I knew that she would never judge me. I was so grateful for her friendship.

RYAN POV:
Just then, the kids burst into my room, their faces full of excitement. They stopped in their tracks when they saw the scene before them.

"Dad!" they yelled, and Joy quickly stood up, straightening her dress.

"Kids, you need to learn to knock!" she said, her voice stern.

"Dad, did you fire the nanny because of her?" George demanded, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Young man, do not raise your voice at me," I said, my voice firm but gentle.

"But Dad, that doesn't answer our question!" Olivia said

"I'm afraid it does, I fired your nanny because she cheated on me."

"That can't be true,That's what that lying wrench told you, isn't it, Dad?" Charlotte said

"Don't call my wife a wrench!" I yelled, my voice rising in anger.

My kids flinched, and I immediately regretted my outburst. I took a deep breath, trying to regain my composure.

"Your wife?" Olivia asked, her voice trembling.

I took a deep breath. "Yes, I'm going to marry Joy. She will be your step-mother."

"No! We don't like her!"

"I don't care, This is my decision."

"Dad, please," Olivia said, tears starting to form in her eyes. "Please don't do this."

"I'll never allow her to be my step-mom, Never. I'd rather die." George said And with that, he stormed out of the room.

Olivia looked at me, her eyes blazing with anger. "I feel the same way, Dad, I will never accept her as my step-mom. Never." And with that, she too left the room.

"Step-mom? Never, That's not going to happen. She's nothing like our nanny." Charlotte said

"Don't you dare compare me to that thing" joy said

"Don't you dare call our nanny a thing, You are the thing here, and I promise you, your days in this house are numbered. You will never be our step-mother, ever!" And with that, she turned and stormed out of the room.

I stood there, my heart pounding in my chest. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I had never seen my kids like this before.

"Did you see what your kids just did? They all threatened me!"

"Don't worry about them, They're just upset right now. They'll come around."
