THE NANNY

GET OUT:

"Guys, guess what!" Olivia said, her voice bright and cheerful.

"What?" George asked

"Dad broke up with Joy! They're finally over!" Olivia said

"Are you serious about this?" George asked

"I'm serious! I heard the whole thing!"Olivia said

"And Dad is in love with our nanny," Charlotte said, peeking out from beneath the covers. "They're already dating, so our nanny is going to be our new mom!"

"We know," Olivia said, a smile spreading across her face.

Few weeks later: :
"I will never let them be together," Joy said

"You're still on about this?" Noelle asked, a hint of exasperation in her voice.

"Yes, I am, I will never let Emma and Ryan be together, not now, not ever."

"It's been three weeks, Why don't you just move on?"

"I will never move on, Ryan belongs to me and me alone."

"See, this is exactly what I'm talking about," Noelle said, throwing up her hands in frustration. "You're obsessed, and it's not healthy. I'm done with this whole thing."

"I don't care, I have a plan."joy said

"Just count me out of your stupid plans, I'm not going to be a part of this." Noelle said, her voice firm.

EMMA POV:
It had been weeks since I had started dating Ryan, and I couldn't be happier. The kids had started calling me "Mom," and we were getting along better than ever. I felt like I was finally starting to belong in this family, and it felt amazing.

The only thing that was still bothering me was Joy. She seemed intent on sabotaging my relationship with Ryan, and I couldn't understand why.

I went to visit Mai "Hey girl, it's been a while," Mai said, smiling as she opened the door

"I missed you!" I said, hugging her tightly.

"I missed you too," Mai said, returning the hug. "It's so good to see you!"

We stood there for a moment, just holding each other, before finally pulling apart.

"So, what's new?"

"Oh, you know, the usual, Life is crazy, but I'm hanging in there"I said, laughing.

"And what about the kids?" Mai asked

"I am already dating their father"

Mai's eyes softened. "That's beautiful. I'm so happy for you."

"Oh, yeah, Mrs. Emma Gosling!" I said, laughing.

"Speaking of which, I heard that Harrison is back in town."

My stomach dropped. "He is?" I asked

"Yup, and he's been pestering me about seeing you, What should I tell him?"

I hesitated, unsure of what to say. "I guess you could tell him I'm not interested in seeing him, But I'm not sure he'll listen."

"But I already told him that you'd be here this evening, He's on his way now."

I felt my heart sink. "Mai, why would you do that?, I told you I didn't want to see him."

"I know, and I'm sorry, I just thought you might change your mind if you saw him in person."

"That's not going to happen," I said, my voice firm.

Just then, Harrison entered the room

"Hi, Emma," he said

What do you want?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.

"Can we talk?" he asked, his eyes fixed on me. "In private?"

I hesitated, unsure of what to do. On the one hand, I didn't want to talk to him. But on the other hand, I knew I couldn't just brush him off.

"Fine,Let's go to our usual place."

RYAN POV:

I was working on my laptop when a notification popped up on my phone. It was a picture of Emma kissing another guy! I was furious. I tried calling her, but she didn't answer. I sat there, fuming, as I stared at the picture. Was this really happening? Was Emma cheating on me? I couldn't believe it. But the evidence was right in front of me.

The message below the picture read, 📧"That girl is a gold digger. I warned you about her."

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. I couldn't believe someone would send me something like this. I was so angry, I flung my phone across the room. It hit the wall with a loud crack and landed in a heap on the floor. I just sat there, staring at the wall, my mind racing. Who could have sent me this? And why?

I went to the fridge and grabbed a beer. I needed something to numb the pain I was feeling. I sat down on the couch and started drinking. I just wanted to forget about everything that had happened.

Then, the front door opened and Emma walked in. She smiled at me and started to move in for a kiss. But before she could get close, I jumped up and moved away from her. She looked at me, confusion written all over her face

"What's wrong?" she asked

"Where have you been?" I asked

"I told you I was going to Mai's place," she said, her voice confused. "What's wrong?"

"You're a liar," I said

I pulled out my phone and showed her the video of her kissing another guy. Her eyes widened in shock.

"That's not what it looks like, I can explain."

"I'm not sure I want to hear it,"

"Ryan, please, that video isn't real, Let me explain what really happened."

"No! Why, Emma? Why did you have to cheat on me? I've always loved you. Why did you do this to me?"

She stood there, her eyes wide and full of tears, but I didn't care. I was too hurt to listen to her explanations. All I could think about was the pain she had caused me.

"Ryan, please, just let me explain," she said, her voice pleading.

But I couldn't hear her words. I was too angry, too hurt. "No, Pack your things and get out of my house. Get out of my life and my kids' lives. I never want to see you again.You pathetic bitch, I hate you and I regret ever falling in love with you."

With that, I turned and walked away, leaving her standing there, her eyes filled with tears.

EMMA POV:
I sank down onto the couch, my head in my hands. Tears streamed down my face as I tried to make sense of what had just happened.

I went to my room and started packing my things. I had to get out of there before the kids came home. I couldn't bear to face them, not after everything that had happened. I grabbed my bags and headed for the door, tears streaming down my face. As I stepped outside, the rain started to fall, as if the sky was crying with me.............
