"What are you doing here?" Fot asked Tinn.

"Your pa invited us." Tinn said.

"Us?"

Gem stepped out of the kitchen just in time, carrying a huge tray full of food.

Fot and Gem exchanged a look, but neither of them spoke. They hadn't communicated with each other since that night. After all that, none of them, especially Fot, knows how to react. Despite his words, he is still ashamed of what happened.

"Wow everyone's here!" It was Fot's papa.

"Everyone sit down. You can start eating now, but more food will come." Fot's dad said.

Everyone cheered and sat down. Fot took a seat in front of Gem, while Tinn took a seat beside Gem.

"While you guys are eating, allow me to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for looking after our Fotfot. Although I am aware that we are to blame for suddenly leaving him, I am glad that you are all there to look out for him." His papa said.

"Especially to Tinn and Gem and their parents for letting Fotfot stay with them. I hope he was not such a naughty boy."

"Dad!"

"Oh, trust me, he was so hard to deal with, right, Gem?" Tinn said, nudging at his brother.

Gem can only nod and continue eating.

"Okay okay, enough talking! Can't we just eat?" Fot said as he pouted.

But his papa ignored him.

"But I still have a hard time differentiating Tinn and Gem. While looking at you like this, I don't know who Tinn is."

His dad came back, placing another set of food on the table, and happen to catch up with their conversation.

"Just remember what your son told us. Gem never smiles, and he looks grumpy all the time." Fot's eyes widened after what his dad said. He wanted to melt in his seat right now. Even his friends doesn't know how to react.

He looked at his dad and scolded him through his eyes.

"But those were your exact words." His dad said, and Fot just mentally slapped his forehead.

Fot is unaware of whether his parents are purposefully making fun of him or if they are just speaking so innocently.

Fot looked nervously at Gem, who was giving him a frown as he stared back at him. He appears somewhat offended, but not angry.

"But I think he's not that grumpy because he stayed with Fot that night, and he--"

"Pa pa pa pa!!" Fot continuously shouted to stop his papa from speaking. None of his friends know about the full details of that embarrassing moment. "Can we please have a large pitcher of iced tea? PLEASE."

For a long moment, his father looked at his son with a raised eyebrow. "Okay then, enjoy eating everyone. I will be back." He said and headed out with his husband.

But after they left, they were giggling, and Fot realized that they were intentionally doing all of it.

Why? He has no idea.

"That's suspicious." Pat said while intently staring at Fot.

"Is there something you're not telling us?" Yo added.

Fot froze in his seat. Since they are his friends, he feels comfortable sharing his fears with them, but this is one thing he cannot share since they will also be interested in learning how he overcame it. He will never be able to tell that Gem spent the entire night with him, and what's worse is that they were holding hands. No way he'll tell them that. Additionally, he can't talk about it since Tinn is present, since he would be embarrassed if he did.
