Before we begin, I want to let you know that I will finally be mentioning their parents' names. Originally, I was going to refer to them as just dad and mom, but there are times in the story that made me feel like I should address them by name (you'll soon find out why). Yes, I realize it's late now 😅

Just like the case with Fot and Gem, the names mentioned, particularly the last names, are purely fictional and have no connection to the real people or their relationship.

After their date, the now-official boyfriends are in the car going to Fot's house. They're still soaked from the rain, so they hurried to get home before both of them fell ill.

All this time, they were silent, but as they reminisced about their moments earlier, especially the time they became official partners and the precious kiss they shared, a smile spread across their faces.

Fot was going to say goodbye to him when they finally got to his house, but Gem insisted that he stay for a while. Gem and the driver went into the house as well, since Fot agreed that they spend more time together.

When they saw them soaking wet from the rain, Fot's parents, Earth and Mix, ran to them and gave them towels.

"I'll make you some hot chocolate. Take a shower first." his papa Mix said to them.

"Wait, sir. I want to tell you something first." Gem told Fot's parents.

"Don't tell me, you finally did it?" Earth asked as he crossed his arms.

Gem took Fot's hand and confidently faced his parents.

"Just like I promised, sir, me and Fot are now officially together. He finally said yes to me."

"What do you mean that you promised?" Fot asked.

"When I was waiting for you to get ready this morning, I was talking to your parents, and I said that I would ask you to be my boyfriend today, so I asked for their blessing. Before they permitted me to do so, I made sure to promise that whatever happens, we will communicate if something is troubling us and pray that nothing more bad will happen between us. I've made a promise to take care of you and love you with all that I have."

"Hearing those words for the first time feels so romantic, but now hearing them the second time makes me want to cry." Mix said.

"And I hope you keep your promise because I know where to find you." Dad Earth warned him.

"Yes, sir." Gem said.

Earth placed his hand on Gem's shoulder and said, "You can call me Dad from now on."

"And call me papa too, just like Fotfot. Welcome to the Wongwitthaya family."

"Thank you.. Dad and Papa.."

Fot's parents went to hug Gem. It didn't matter to them that he was wet from the rain. Gem felt the warmth of the embrace they had given him. It feels like home for him. Fot's not going to be left alone, so he squeezed between them and joined them in a hug.

"Okay, you both go dry off, and we'll prepare your hot chocolate."

"Let's go and shower together." Fot told Gem, which caused Gem and his parents to freeze and stare at him.

Fot was puzzled with their reactions and has no single clue to what is happening.

"I am giving you both my blessings, but there's no way I am allowing you to take a shower together." his dad said.

Fot instantly turned red as a tomato upon realizing his mistake.

"I.. I meant.. that we shower but s-separately.. Gem showers in our bathroom, and.. I.. I go to your b-bathroom inside your bedroom and.. take a shower.." Fot tries to explain this to his parents.

His parents do know that he didn't mean anything to it, they just love to tease him. Gem couldn't help but smile, seeing Fot all flustered.

"Go then before you get sick. Wait for me here, Gem. I'll lend you some clothes. Fot's clothes won't fit you." his dad said.
