Part 6

"Are these the documents I have to review?" Gem asked Tiw.

Gem and Fot were confused as Tiw and Tinn exchanged glances with one another.

Tinn immediately stood next to Tiw and took the documents from him.

"Yes, these are the documents that were mixed with my papers. I gave them to Tiw, so I asked him to bring them back to me." Tinn said.

Gem furrowed his brows in confusion. Tinn subtly hinted at Gem, using his eyes, that Fot was with them. Gem looks at Fot before looking back at his brother and his secretary. He somehow had an idea of what they are trying to say to him.

"Thanks for taking it back, Tiw." Gem said.

"Um.. no problem. I know you need it." Tiw said, forcing a smile.

Gem then turned his gaze back to Fot, where he could see that he had his belongings with him.

"You can't be serious." Gem said, turning to look at his brother. "He's really staying here?"

"Bro, he has nowhere else to go. Fot has been my friend for a long time now. Plus, mom already agreed to it. You can't go against mom, Gem."

Gem let out a sigh, knowing he really cannot do that.

"As long as he doesn't bother me again. I feel uncomfortable when he gets close to me. He better stay away from me." Gem said and walked away.

When Fot heard what Gem said, he was taken aback. He still distinctly recalled Gem pushing him against the wall on their first day of meeting and staring into his eyes. He assumed Gem had already forgotten what he had done, and he remains puzzled as to why he did it.

"I should be the one getting uncomfortable just thinking that a person like you exists in this world, idiot!" Fot shouted, losing control of his rage.

"Fot, stop." Tinn said, placing his hand on his shoulder. "You should just ignore my brother and not interact with what he tells you."

"I swear! If he isn't your brother, I would've punched him in the face already." Fot said, angrily walking inside the house and up the stairs.

Before Tinn followed, Tiw whispered to him.

"I have to go to my boss and explain the documents." Tiw said.

"Go to his office. I got this. Also, please explain to Gem what just happened." Tinn said, then he followed Fot, who was waiting on the second floor, and led him to the guest room where he would stay.

Tiw went upstairs when they were already inside the guest room and hurriedly went to Gem's office.

At the guest room, Fot was still upset about the incident at the living room. He furiously piled his belongings onto the bed while Tinn stand with his arms crossed on the door frame.

"I'm sorry for my brother. He really is too hard to handle. It took me a while to get used to him, but he truly is a nice guy." Tinn said.

"You don't have to say something nice about him to calm me down. To continue the peace in this house, I think I will try to ignore his comments about me." Fot replied, placing his clothing on the wardrobe.

"I could help you. Have you ever considered becoming friends with him?"

"Are you freaking out of your mind? I would rather punch him than be friends with him." Fot scoffed.

"Okay okay. I won't force you on that. I'll let you get settled in then. Call me if you need anything so you won't have to walk all the way to my room."

When Fot realized what Tinn had stated, he suddenly stopped what he was doing.

"The rooms next to me are guest rooms, right?"

"The ones on the right is a guest room, and the room on your left is.. Gem's bedroom."

"Great. Just great." Fot forced a smile and continued with what he's doing.

Tinn could only smile before leaving the room and going to his own room.
