"Tonight is the night we've all been waiting for. Welcome, everyone, sa premiere night ng The End of February film!"
As our car stopped on the long road in front of the theater where the premiere was being held, I tried to look outside. What met me was the sight of probably hundreds of people behind barricades, countless photographers with their long lenses, and journalists covering this night's event.
"Nakaranas ka na ba ng something so bad na maiiyak ka nalang anytime?"
When I heard Laurel's voice, tinanaw ko ang malaking screen sa labas ng theater kung saan nag-pe-play ang trailer ng movie. And on that huge screen, a series of short clips of me crying played one after another until it stopped to the scene of me in front of the bathroom mirror, smiling with my eyes crying.
"I'm sorry," my line says.
"Perry."
I turned to RJ when he called me. His eyes are on me, examining me. And on his lips, a smile is plastered.
"Let's go?"
