I...

I'm back in my apartment. In the middle of my bedroom.

There is nothing out of the ordinary,

Even the bed sheets are still messed up from when I dropped myself there.

I see on the alarm clock: 21:45.

Man, its late, I better get sleeping.

I drop on the bed, man I missed this feeling.

Next morning, I wake up to my alarm clock beeping.

Oh, I forgot to turn it of last night!

Standing up, I try to work through what just happened.

Did yesterday really happen? Or was it some funky dream?

I can't stop thinking about it.

Oh, right! I had to forget something...

Man, that was a good sleep, but damn, I feel like I have memory loss now.

Wait, yes, now I remember!

I... Was transported. To a mystical world of sorts, and, there was this girl in brown clothes...?

Oww... I know that is true, but it hurt to think due to memory loss.

Maybe a cup of coffee wil ease my brain.

I head into the kitchen, making myself a coffee.

I pick up my phone, perhaps something on socials that can get my mind of?

As I turn on the phone... Wow! 40 missed calls?

I shock at the sight. Where have I been?

I take a sip of the coffee. Now I remember!

I was in a strange world, got turned into a goddamn cat, and met some strange people in colorful outfits, it was, a day or something ago? They were... Wizards, yes!

This is still hurting my brain... But...

Mokka! The brown dressed girl's name was Mokka!

It was really an adventure... I...

I promised I would forget it.

But... I can't! At least one of my friends has to know!

I need to seek help! I want to tell this!

But... I am conflicted inside. My brain hurts from thinking about all of this.

I need a way out of this weird situation.

I get my phone and look through my contacts, who to trust?

While it is tricky at least, I think it has to be... Duncan.

He organized a party for me, we have been friends since toddler school, there is no other one I can think of to tell this.

I tap the call button. The buzzing from the phone rings in my ears before Duncan picks up.

"Hey, Duncan, I have something to s-"

"EVAN! FINALLY, I WAS STARTING TO THINK YOU WERE DEAD!"

"Whoa, Duncan, calm, what is the matter?"

"Are you crazy? You have been missing for days! No phone calls, no texts, you would not even open the door when I or anyone else from the gang knocked!"

So... It was not a migraine or anything, the experience of yesterday was real, no hallucinations, or other weird things. I was missing, that reveals the whole truth of this.

"Duncan, don't worry, ok? I... yes, something happened."

"So what?! What has made you go missing for this time?"

"I... I have a story to tell, can we... Can we meet up?"

"No discussion, Evan. where do we meet?"

"At... The park, its very early, it should not be too busy now."

"Are you telling I should come alone?"

"Yes, Duncan, this... This is actually something that has to be kept secret."

"I'll go there now, meet me there."

He hangs up.

I get to my room and get dressed in a hurry.

After all is done, I head out to the park.

This... Wil be a huge confession. But wait, Mokka also had to make a big confession, saying I was not a cat and all. It makes me feel better for what is about to happen.

In the park, I see Duncan scrolling through his phone on bench.

The moment he notices me, when we make direct eye contact, he wastes no second and runs straight for me.

"Evan!"

"Whoa, Duncan, sound down, its very early, and some people might still be sleeping!"

He calms.

"So, what is it you wanted to tell me that has to be a secret?"

"Well..."

And so I tell him everything, every word, every occurrence, every moment filled with my full honesty and seriousness.

"You... And you seriously did not smoke anything at the part, right?"

"I did not, Duncan, all that was very real, it felt real, it was real."

"You... You... You really turned into... A CAT?"

"It was weird and out of this world, pal, yes, yes I did."

"This, This! This is unbelievable! and not even in the good or bad way! I literally have no words for this!"

"I understand, Duncan, and that is why nobody should ever know."

"I... I see."

Then, we give each other a powerful handshake.

Now, its time to leave it all behind and be back to normal.

I will never forget what happened, my life has been change forever.

Explaining all of this to Duncan was a whirlwind, but i'm glad we cam to our senses, and now its all over.

Time to reconnect with the world.
