As I tried to unlock my brand new locker, Kody rushed up to me. "Dude, we gotta talk. Avalyn called me last night! Said she overheard Avia talking to Em on the phone. She's pregnant or some shit!"
"Wait, what?" I exclaimed. "Avia's pregnant? Who's the dad?"
"Are you slow? It's me, man! I was her first time, which was, like, a month ago! We were drunk and must not have used protection." Kody shook his head in disbelief.
"Does Avia know that you know?" I asked.
"Of course not! Avalyn told me just a few hours ago! Should I confront her about it?" Kody asked.
"She could have it aborted by tomorrow! Tell her right now! Avia! Come here!" I yelled.
"Hey Quinn! Hey Kody. What's up?" Avia asked, looking nervous. Or maybe nauseous.
"Avia, I know that your pregnant!" Kody yelled a bit too loudly.
"What?" Avia's fake smile dropped instantly. "How do you know?"
Avalyn walked up. "I told him. He has a right to know."
"What is wrong with you? You didn't even talk to me about it first!" Avia cried.
"I'm sorry. I was on mushrooms! I wasn't thinking straight!" Avalyn shrugged. "I'm high right now. At least this speeds up the process."
"You fucking bitch!" Avia began to sob and ran into the girls bathroom where Rebecca was applying makeup. "Rebecca?"
"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Rebecca asked.
I ran inside. "Are you going to tell her?"
"Wait, you told Quinn about whatever this is before me?" Rebecca scoffed.
"I'm pregnant!" Avia cried.
"What?" Rebecca gasped. "You aren't a virgin? You lost your virginity and din't tell me?"
"So not the issue here!" I crossed my arms. "Go comfort your friend!"
"Why is it my problem now? It's not my fault that Avia is a slut!" Rebecca giggled.
"Excuse me?" Avia put her hands on her hips. "You're my friend!"
"Yeah, duh! But I'm not making your pregnancy my problem!" Rebecca rolled her eyes. "Just abort the baby or whatever. Problem solved."
"It's not that easy, Rebecca!" I exclaimed in disbelief.
"This is the girls restroom! Get out!" Avia cried.
Kody ran inside. "Avia! We need to talk about this!"
