"Sit here and wait for me" Irene said
Nasa conference room kami. Lolo Gregory is here too. Mukhang important meeting ito since lahat ng investors and executives are here. Kate saw me and waved her hand. I smiled at her and waved back.
"Year end meeting is always a pain in the head Czarina, sit tight but don't relax kasi walang ganun" bulong nito sakin
Muntik na akong matawa sa huli niyang sinabi. Kaya pala lahat ng bigatin andito, mukhang mahaba-habang meeting to.
Bumukas muli ang pinto. Nakita ko ang mga Lee kasama sina Sir Peter at Isaac.
"Ugh my morning's ruined again" Iris suddenly said
"Hija watch your mouth" Lolo Gregory said
"Tss can't we start this meeting? Nasan na ba si Daddy at Louise?" tanong nito
"Your sister went back to her office, she forgot to bring some important files while your dad is on his way na" biglang sagot ni Kate
"Relax lang kasi babe, ano bang problema at naiinis ka dyan ha?" dagdag nito
"N-Nothing, sorry I'm just excited to talk about something else. Year-end party babe" sagot ni Iris
Ngumiti ako nang maalala ang pagpapaalam ni Iris last weekend.
"Sorry for the long wait, let us begin the meeting"
Napatingin ako sa pintuan. Sir George and Irene just arrived. She quickly sat beside me and made a quick glance.
"Make sure to take notes Czari, this is an important meeting" bulong niya
"Alright ma'am"
"We will start the meeting with the annual budget, project costs, stock and revenue" Sir George said
Kate quickly went to the front and started the presentation. I did my best to take down notes as much as I can. Sobrang dami kasing infos about sa budget.
"The farms are doing very well, good job to all" biglang sabi ni Lolo Gregory
"Although hindi pa rin ako satisfied, I want to know about the future projects" dagdag niya
Future projects? Guess he's pertaining to the project proposals. Isa-isa naming chineck ni Irene yun.
"Here are the possible projects for next year Sir" Irene said
Kate opened the file and started showing to all the project proposals. It's going really smooth when I heard someone hissed. Lumingon ako at nakita si Isaac na masama ang tingin kay Irene.
"Focus on the meeting Czari" she suddenly said
"S-Sorry" sabi ko
Grabe nasa akin pala yung attention ni Irene. Bumalik ako sa pakikinig at nagpatuloy sa pagsusulat. Halos dawalang oras na si Kate sa unahan habang si Iris naman ay nagpapaliwanag.
"The project proposals are ideal and possible, I wonder how much you thought about it?" Sir Peter asks
"Well it was reviewed by the COO, CEO and now Sir Gregory" Iris said
"Include yourself hija, the future CEO of SAC. You should do that Iris so that everybody knows it's not just Louise and George who did the decision making" Lolo Gregory said
Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Lolo, everybody gasped when he said that. Iris looks surprised too.
"Alright Sir Gregory" magalang niyang sagot
"This is unacceptable!"
Napalingon kaming lahat kay Isaac. He's already standing, I noticed his dad holding his arm.
