I let out a deep sigh bago umupo sa couch. Irene must have locked the door because she quickly sat on my lap and sealed my lips with a kiss.
Nakakabigla talaga ito minsan.
"I'm worried earlier Czari, the moment I realized you're with that crazy woman I quickly ran to the HR Department to warn you. I'm sorry I was careless" malambing niyang paliwanag
"No Irene, you're just right on time earlier. Thank you for saving me"
I know natakot siya sa nangyari kanina. Kahit naman ako natakot rin, halatang malaki ang galit ng babaeng yun sa kanya.
She decided to take a rest, I postponed her appointment with other investors today.
"I want to go home na, I want to lay on the bed and hug you all day" bulong nito
"I'll drive us home okay? Iris also told me to bring you home after the incident"
"Do you think those I fired will be back to take revenge? Just like the crazy woman earlier?" tanong niya
I know she's scared, I did not answer her and just kissed her forehead.
"Let's go na, I'll buy you jabee rin" malambing kong sabi
She gave me a small smile, buti na lang happy pill niya ang food bukod sakin.
We went out of the building, some employees keep staring at Irene. I know they're thinking Irene deserved it, I know they think she got her karma.
If I didn't know Irene that well that's what I will also think. We're all judgemental in different ways.
I made sure walang tao sa parking lot, although nasa exclusive area na kami ay maingat pa rin ako. Mahirap na, baka mamaya machismis pa kaming dalawa.
I started driving, Irene's just quiet. She's busy looking outside. Nag drive thru muna ako sa jabee bago dumiretso sa high rise tower. I hope she'll feel better na.
We went to her unit, she needed to change her clothes. Sumama na ako para mahain na ang pagkain.
"Czari can you come here first?" rinig kong sabi niya
Dali-dali naman akong pumasok sa kwarto niya at nakita ang hawak nitong damit.
"Change into this, it's more comfortable than wearing office suit" sabi niya
It's her clothes. I suddenly feel happy she's letting me wear it.
"Thanks" sabi ko
Pumasok na ako ng bathroom at nagpalit. Paglabas ko nakita ko siyang nakaupo sa kama at tulala.
"Irene...let's eat na. Lalamig yung burger mo"
"A-Alright" sabi nito
We headed to the dining area. I started feeding her, I wanted to take care of her today. After what happened I know she's not feeling well.
"Irene last bite" sabi ko
"I'm full na"
"You ate three pieces of chicken last time and now you're full just by eating one burger?" tanong ko
"Czari..."
"Alright, go to your room and have some rest na. I will just clean this up okay?"
"Make it quick please" sabi niya
"Yes ma'am, go na"
She kiss my cheek before entering her room. I sighed before cleaning up. Nang matapos ay agad akong pumasok sa kwarto niya.
