Paika-ika akong pumasok sa office. Medyo ngalay pa kasi yung mga hita ko. Hindi talaga ako tinigilan ni Irene hangga't hindi niya nakikitang sobrang nanginginig na ang mga ito.
Agad akong napaupo sa swivel chair, pumasok si Irene na may dalang coffee. Pinagtimpla ko pa rin siya bago ako makapasok sa office, syempre trabaho ko na yun.
"You seemed tired"
Tingnan mo, nang-aasar pa talaga.
"Of course I am. You didn't give me enough time to rest. I'm all sore Irene" pagmamaktol ko
"Hmm? You saying something? I only remember how much you wanted it and how you keep calling my name"
Napakagat ako ng labi habang siya'y tumatawa lamang. Gagi nakakahiya!
Agad akong nag iwas ng tingin at binuksan na lamang ang Ipad.
As usual I did my tasks as an executive assistant. Medyo nag upgrade lang ng konti kasi ako na ang sumasagot sa mga business calls ni Irene. She said I can practice talking with other people formally if I answer some of her business calls.
Inantok ako bigla after namin mag lunch. Sasandal na sana ako sa table nang maramdaman ko ang palad ni Irene sa aking noo.
"Don't sleep here, you see that door there? That's my personal room, I often sleep there specially when I'm tired"
Napatingin ako sa nakalock na pintuan. Ito yung sinasabi niya sakin nung orientation na prohibited area.
"Go on, I don't want you to sleep here" dagdag niya
"Pero mag aayos pa ako ng schedule mo for next week"
"You can do that tomorrow, I know you're tired from last night honey" malambing niyang sabi
"T-Thank you"
"Kiss me then" bigla niyang sabi
"Huh?"
"I will be more glad if you kiss me instead of saying thank you"
A cheeky smile appeared on her face. Gosh ang cute cute niya talaga kapag ginagawa iyon.
I decided to give her a quick peck on the lips before going inside her secret room. It has one bed, sofa and mini side table. Pagtingin ko sa gilid may mini ref rin. Seems like hindi na siya laging tumatambay dito dahil isang bote ng tubig na lang ang laman nito.
I took off my blue coat and lay down on the soft mattress. Gosh biglang bumalik ang antok na naramdam ko kanina. I quickly hugged the soft pillow and closed my eyes. It's cold kaya mas masarap matulog.
Hindi ko na alam kung gaano ako katagal nakatulog. Nang mag check ako ng phone saka ko lang nakita ang oras. Almost five na pala, tatlong oras akong nakatulog? Wtf!
Agad akong bumangon at madaling lumabas ng kwarto. Nakita kong nagulat pa si Irene nang mapansin ako.
"What's the matter?"
"I slept too long..." nahihiya kong sagot
She chuckled before going closer to me.
"God Czari, relax. You have no tasks to do so ease up, why so tense hon?"
"I just...I don't want anyone to think I'm a lazy assistant"
Her smile disappears as she crossed her arms. I know she's aware of the circulating rumors about me and her. I mean she doesn't mind it but to me it is a big deal.
"You really should not mind those employees, they don't know anything about us honey"
"But what they see is what they believe. I should be more hard working until they see it"
