"For fuck's sake, can you not do this on my locker?" I shoved the kissing couple next to me.
Yeah, I found out what Wooyoung's best friend's deal was pretty quick after I broke up with him.
"Don't be annoying." Wooyoung pulled away from his boyfriend, San, and sassed.
"Me?" I smiled. "Just move a damn inch."
"Bitch." Wooyoung stuck his tongue out at me after moving, so his back was pressed against his locker with San still attached to him like a magnet. That would be how I met my other close friend, also known as my ex-boyfriend.
I was highly anticipating Minho's arrival. The suspense was killing me. I needed to know what I was going to be dealing with as soon as possible.
"Woo, I need to tell you something."
"What?" He sighed, annoyed that I interrupted him.
"Chill out." I snapped at San who was staring into my soul. "Anyway," I looked back to Wooyoung, "Minho and I made a bet." The moment I said it, I realized I definitely shouldn't have. Being an oversharer is a curse. But Wooyoung has never done me dirty so hopefully, he keeps it quiet.
"Oh?" He was already intrigued.
"We have to make someone fall in love with us. Except I pick for him and he picks for me." Now that I'm saying it out loud, I realize how fucked up it is. Or maybe it's just San's angry expression that's making me feel small.
"Whatever you do, don't pick someone I'm friends with. I'd rather not deal with the tears."
"What're you going to do if you feel the same?" San asked me. I'm shocked he had anything to say.
"I won't." I shook my head.
"But if you do."
"Then I call off the bet."
"Will you tell them?"
"Depends, but probably not."
He rolled his eyes and shook his head. I don't expect him to understand only because he doesn't like fun. He cherishes the idea of a relationship but we're so young. From what Wooyoung's told me, San has been in love with him for years and he had no idea. In my mind, if he was that serious, he should've waited till after we graduated. High school relationships don't last so he just dug his own grave.
"I made it." Minho finally arrived.
"I picked yours already, by the way," I said to him.
"That's not how this works, you can't pre-pick. We said at this very moment."
"Now you're just making up ru-"
"Him." Minho pointed, not letting me finish my sentence.
"Who?" I tried to follow, but I didn't see who he was referring to.
"The little blonde."
"Her?" I pointed to a gorgeous platinum-blonde girl, hoping that's who he meant.
"No, him." Great, I can't even see his face.
"Lee Felix." Wooyoung chimed in, paying attention to our choices.
"You told him?" Minho whispered, not seeming too happy.
"Sorry." I awkwardly said.
He rolled his eyes and groaned. "Anyway, you pick for me now."
Life became ten times easier once Han Jisung walked right next to the one I needed to swoon.
"Him." I nodded my head in the same direction. "Next to Fred."
