Jisung's POV:

"He's so amazing, like he's actually perfect." Felix beamed over the phone. He was waiting for Hyunjin to pick him up for his work shift. "I don't know why people talk shit about him all the time when he's so nice and respectful. Ji, he's so good to me."

I hated this. Everything he was saying wasn't true and he had no idea.

Felix has only lived in Korea for a little less than a year, he doesn't know Hyunjin the way he thinks he does. To me, Hwang Hyunjin is a slimy piece of shit. But of course, Felix likes to play devil's advocate.

"Felix, I need to tell you something about Hyunjin." I sighed.

"What?"

He needed to know. If I didn't tell him, what kind of friend would I be?

"I heard that Hyunjin...hooked up with a girl at the party last night." Even just saying it, I felt sick to my stomach. Felix doesn't deserve this. He's been through so much, why would anyone want to toy with him? It makes me sick.

"What? No, he wouldn't do that. Plus, he was with me the whole time."

"Before we got there," I added.

"Then who was it?"

"I have no clue." Not knowing definitely didn't help my case, but I've heard about it from several people already.

"Listen, I can assure you that he didn't. He wouldn't do that to me." That threw me off guard a little bit. How could Felix possibly believe he's special in Hyunjin's eyes?

"How could you be so sure though?"

"Because he's different with me, he said so."

Is Felix really that gullible? He's heard so many things about Hyunjin. He's asked tons of people questions since they've started hanging out but he's ignored everything. I just don't get it.

"How so?"

"Well, I told you he told me he really likes me. You even said you've never heard of him doing something like that. Why would he go out of his way to pick someone up and drop them off at work every single day too? And now we're going on a legit date after my shift. He's never taken anyone on a date before unless he dates them, right?"

I hated how he was right. The Hwang Hyunjin I've always heard about has never done any of those things for the dozens of hookups he's had.

"Yeah." I sighed in defeat. "I'd ask him about it when you see him though."

"I will and he'll tell me exactly what I told you. He was with me the whole time. Wait, he's here. I'll talk to you later Ji."

"Bye, Felix." I pinched the bridge of my nose and shook my head once he hung up the phone.

I don't understand how someone like Minho could be best friends with such a piece of shit.

Speaking of, I should probably answer his text.
