"He's a nightmare!" I exclaimed, lying on Minho's bed. "Dude, he's such a weirdo."
"Then you're playing the part well." He smiled, leaning back in his desk chair. "Jisung has been hearing all about your little cuddle sessions."
"Minho, the kid doesn't shut up. What happened to the little shy one at the party? Where did he go? Now he's this dorky, poor, gamer boy with the biggest mouth on the planet."
"You wanna know what he says about you?"
"What?" I immediately shot up, curious to know.
"Can't say." He laughed and shook his head.
"Oh, fuck you." I scoffed, laying back down. "He likes me, it's obvious."
"Have you kissed him yet?"
"No," I mumbled awkwardly. "But I have my reasons."
"Sure you do."
I didn't tell him about what Felix told me at the party. Not because I don't want him to know but because I don't want to talk about it. Though as always, he'd be on my side and support me. He knows me well enough to know I'd never do anything that involves taking advantage of another person. Ever.
"I'll do it soon. I've just wanted to take it slow."
"There's no time for slow when you have fifteen days left to make some magic happen. I did it in less than a week so now it's your turn."
"Shut up, I know." I groaned, slightly stressed about how much time I had left.
Jisung doesn't know about the bet either, nor will Minho tell him. Especially since he's developed real feelings for the younger. I saw it coming the night of the party. For a person who likes to keep their emotions and thoughts to themselves, Minho sure had a lot to tell me the next day. He's absolutely smitten.
"When are you seeing him again?"
"Tonight. I drop him off and pick him up from work every day."
He stared at me like I had three heads. "You're playing the part very well then. You sure you don't like him?" He teased playfully.
"Don't get me wrong, I think he's cute. I mean, really cute. I'm very physically attracted to Felix. But the second he opens that mouth...all of that goes away."
"So basically if he had his mouth sewn shut, you'd be in love with him."
"Oh yeah, for sure." I quickly said then laughed. "He doesn't have any real red flags, but there's just a few things I can't get past."
"Like?"
"He's poor as fuck, dude. I don't mean to judge, but yeah, I'm totally judging."
"Anything else?"
"The gamer thing." I cringed. "Like get a fucking life."
Minho sighed and shook his head slowly while staring at the ground. "Don't judge him too hard." He knows a lot about Felix now because of Jisung, but he refuses to tell me anything. To say it's annoying is an understatement; it's actually excruciating.
"I've eased up, don't worry."
"So, is that it? The fact that he's a gamer and doesn't have a lot of money?"
"He doesn't drive. Like if he works so much, why doesn't he just save up for a car?"
"How about his personality?"
"This is a bet, not the Bachelor. I'm not paying attention to things like that." Minho threw an eraser from his desk, making my eye a perfect bullseye. "Ow! What is fuck is wrong with you?"
