"Hold that one down!" the Doctor orders as he hung on to the TARDIS console.
"I'm holding this one down," Rose argued back.
"Well, hold them both dow—" the Doctor cut himself off by staring when Adalyn suddenly showed she was flexible as she held other lever down.
"DOCTOR!" Rose yelled.
"Right, crashing," the Doctor said snapping out of it.
"WHAT?!" both women yell.
"Never mind, time for the time machine, how does 1860 sound?" the Doctor asked.
"What happened in 1860?" Rose asked.
"Are we going to meet Charles Dickens or something?" Adalyn questioned.
"I don't know," the Doctor said to Rose, "and, who knows?" he said to Adalyn, "Hold on and here we go!"
The TARDIS materializes with a hard thump, throwing the three of them to the ground with the Doctor on top of Adalyn, "Well, hello," Adalyn said in a flirty tone making the Doctor turn bright red.
"Blimey!" Rose exclaimed as she stared at the top of the TARDIS. Her voice made the Doctor scramble up and help Adalyn up.
"Are you okay?" he asked Adalyn who smiled and nodded. He turn to help Rose up, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Nothing broken. Did we make it? Where are we?" Rose asked.
"When are we?" Adalyn added.
"I did it. Give the man a medal. Earth, Naples, December 24th, 1860," the Doctor listed off.
"That's so weird. It's Christmas," Rose said.
"All yours," the Doctor said.
"But, it's like, think about it, though. Christmas. 1860. Happens once , just once and it's gone, it's finished, it'll never happen again. Except for you. You can go back and see days that are dead and gone a hundred thousand sunsets ago. No wonder you never stay still," Rose rambled.
"Not a bad life," the Doctor shrugged. Adalyn grabbed his hand, she knew he sort of felt depressed from the thought of his long life. She had it sometimes and she wasn't even a hundred yet.
"Better with three," Rose said with a smile, "Come on, then."
"Hey, where do you think you're going?" the Doctor called when Rose started walking away.
"1860," Rose urged.
"Go out dressed like that, you'll start a riot, Barbarella. There's a wardrobe through there," the Doctor pointed down a hall, "First left, second right, third on the left, go straight ahead, under the stairs, past the bins, fifth door on your left. Hurry up!" the Doctor urged the two women.
Adalyn groaned down the hall, "I hate poofy dresses!" growing up in years before pants were acceptable for women to wear pants she absolutely hated the dresses and skirts, but loved when men tried to intimidate her and then she turned all fiery and they piss their pants.
She managed to find a black year appropriate dress. "Aren't your chains around your waist?" Rose asked.
"That's where they are normally," Adalyn said, casually walking around in her underwear. Rose secretly wanted to know how much the Doctor would've stuttered if he had seen Adalyn walk around in a bra and underwear as she was changing where her tattoo went. One thing she did learn about Ghost Riders, their weapons are hidden as tattoos. Adalyn may hate poofy skirts, but she does wear shorter ones so she had easier access to the gun currently tattoed on her thigh. Rose watched as the chains on Adalyn's stomach migrated up to her shoulders and arms, while blades moved down to her sides. "Hopefully I don't need the blades," Adalyn comments, as her tattoos readjust.
