Red is a powerful soul with the power go possess other beings. A lot of demons want to have Red's power for themselves.

Cassian's pov:
'WAKE UP!'
I shot awake after someone yelled yet I could barely see anything. I tried opening my eyes but I still couldn't see a thing until a red fog started swirling through my eyes. 'Listen closely Cassian.' A deep voice spoke yet I could not see who it was. 'I am you and you are me.' I almost laughed.
I have been with so many doctors, that I know this speech. They said the voices might start getting a mind of their own but this was taking it too far. Does it think I am going to be scared? 'Fuck you, I am going to find you a kill you even if it means digging through my own brain.'
'I am your soul, I am a part of you.' Why am I still listening oh wait, he is inside of me and I can't avoid it. 'If you want me to make you powerful, more powerful than you have ever been, I want you to protect Sarian.'
'And if I do will you shut up?'
'If you make sure Sarian doesn't get hurt I will.' My eyes opened and I could instantly see some light. They were not nice at all. Is death also that dark? You feel trapped in the darkness with no way out. Not pretty.
My eyes instantly landed on Sarian. "He is not going anywhere." I hit him with the hard truth, this thing was staying with me.
"Yeah...I figured." He sighed and stood up. "I have no business here anymore."
"Yes and you should leave." That is all I wanted, was my life so bad to be this erupted? Now I wish my mind was making up all of this because I believe my mind more than my eyes. This can't be real.
'We had a deal.' Red growled I shook my head while waving him off.
'Calm down, he is not in danger and I got this.' I glanced at Sarian. "If you are ever in danger call me, Red says he will protect you." See I am keeping my end. 'Happy?'
"I won't ever be in danger." His fists were bawled up. "Can you stop saying that?"
"I don't want you to be in danger trust me I don't but Red seems to think you will need him so he offered his hand." I pushed myself off my bed and there was blood on my sheets. I almost screamed, how did that get there?
I glanced at my body and I was reminded that I had been bleeding. I took the sheets off and threw them away, I picked up another well-steamed pair and laid it on straightly. I had to push Sarian out of the way and focus on my bed until there were no wrinkles in it.
Until I was satisfied, I stood up and looked at Sarian. "Unless you're in danger don't try to find me."
He walked over to me. "I'm going to try to heal you. If you push me away, that's it I'm not trying again."
