Cassian's pov:

I wanted to eat Sarian's home-cooked meal but I guess those plans are out of the window since his family invited me to dinner once again.

Don't know how this will turn out but I can't say I am not ready for it. Sami, I already knows my secret about being Red so that will be interesting.

Sarian and I walked into the kitchen after he took his 'relaxing shower', another way of him lying to me because he wanted to escape. I guess he was terrified of having another night with me and doing the routine he had come to be used to.

He had become a good boy in these past days but afterward, he just goes back to being the worst which makes me want to break him once again and so the cycle repeats. I need him in my apartment twenty-four seven at my reach whenever I want him. I want him to be at my disposal so that when he thinks of flying I trim off the wings and keep him low.

My eyes found his entire family at the dinner table. The bad blood still present with dangerous looks coming from the twins but don't I give two shits or should I say it in another language? I almost laughed. I got Sarian screaming them but I don't think I remember any of them so I glanced at him. "Can you tell them 'I don't care' in seven languages...we've been practicing."

He glared at me. "Non mi interessa (I don't care)." He rolled his eyes. "That was Italian....we didn't practice the rest."

"You should practice more because I hate Italian." I hissed while taking a seat.

He sat down next to me. "Aren't you Italian, mio diavolo (my devil)?"

"My devil?" Seion scoffed. "A fly is harder to kill." He glared at me.

"So that is what that means." I glared at Sarian and then back to Seion. "Thank you for the translation. You're finally somehow useful."

Sarian looked at me. "You didn't know the translation?"

"No I didn't because you never translate shit." And I hate you speaking Italian. I bet he is always cursing me out or some shit. "Can you learn another language, one I won't mind like Russian. Sounds dangerous and I love it."

"Per te, imparerei il latino (for you, I'd learn Latin). I'm not translating that."

I laughed, not understanding shit. "Fuck you." I picked up a bottle of wine and poured myself something before drowning it down. He needed a few more days. "And we are making an Italian day." He will know what that means. He loves it so much he should get a day to speak it or two.

"Wait-" he started to protest.

"Oh? You're taking language classes?" Sami asked.

Seth looked at Sarian confused. "He's fluent in Italian. It's his first language."
