Where you go, I go.

Sarian's pov:

I fix myself in the mirror before walking back into Cassian's room. He was ridding his bed of any wrinkles. I've noticed that he's somewhat of a neat freak. By the looks of it, it's extreme. "Ok..." I didn't know what to say. "Bye." I grabbed my jacket and headed for the door.

"Wait." He stopped. "Red doesn't want you to go." I scoffed and continued my path to the open door, what is he going to do? Stop me?

"Sarian, he wants you to stay."

"I heard you. I'm leaving."

"Sarian." He held my hand with a red fog on his hand, the soul almost appearing on top. "Stay" He growled.

It caught me off guard. "Why?"

"Do you have somewhere important to be?"

"Yes. In my bed." I'm not sure how long I've been up but I'm exhausted. Especially after being choked to near death.

"Get in bed." He commanded with finality in his voice.

I threw my jacket on the back of the chair and sat in it. This conversation is pointless because he cannot force me to do what he wants.

Cassian leaned onto the chair, his hands holding onto both sides of the armrests. "It's not my fault he wants you, but don't think for a second that I will let you disrespect me like this. You hear me?"

I grabbed him by his throat. "Remember you are only human. I don't take orders."

"A human with the power of a strong soul." Cassian seemed unbothered by the hand around his neck. "Are you sure you want to start a fight with me or are you gonna enter that bed and shut up?"

I looked at him for a second before pushing him back. It wasn't hard enough to send him flying although I wanted to. I stripped out of everything except my boxers and climbed in bed.

Cassian walked out of the bedroom and when he came back he had food in hand with juice. He handed me a tray before resting his down. "Eat."

I drank the juice but sat the food on the nightstand next to me. "Thanks."

"Is Red your ex?"

"No...I've never met him."

Cassian held my chin, turning me to look at him. "He seems to know everything about you, how do you explain that?"

"I know everything about him as well. He's a legend but I cannot explain how he knows everything about me." I licked my lips. "What is he telling you?" I asked curiously.

"Things I don't want to say." Cassian pulled my legs apart before lying between them. He laid his head down before lifting it back up to look at me. "Why did you lie that you didn't know him? He wants you to remember your love."
