I never understood desire until I felt your hands around my throat.

Cassian's pov:

I couldn't wait to visit hell. This dream turned out to be more interesting that I no longer wanted to wake up. But who would want to with the thought of hunting a demon? I packed my best equipment. I got out of my bedroom and walked over to Sarian. "I'm done, I'm ready to pick a demon."

"One demon." He said sternly.

I shrugged, I can make that one suffer for two. He held my hand and transported me into hell or more like the prison. Guess he was trying to hide me from his uncle, but I didn't care. "I can choose from any of these?"

"Yes." He looked around and you could tell he didn't want to be here.

I walked around and watched as they all snarled at me as if they wanted to bite me. Do demons eat humans? Never asked but right now all I need is a demon I can hunt.

I walked cell per cell, searching for the one. My eyes caught one that was sitting far back inside the cage. His stance showed he was the strongest one among them all. The way everyone kept distance from him proved my suspicions. I bet he did something big. He can be multiplied by two or three if his game is that strong. "I want him."

"Choose someone else."

"No, I want him." I was even offended from thinking about not getting him. He expects me to choose from the rest who are complete losers.

He sighed but unlocked the cage, letting the demon free. "Kneel." He commanded. The demon tried throwing a punch at Sarian but he blocked it and grabbed his hand, pining it behind the demon's back. "Do what you please." He told me, forcing the demon to his knees.

I bent over so I was on his level. "We are going to play a game, if you win you are free to go." I knew that offer he would not refuse no matter what. "You get to choose one person you want to survive with."

Sarian glared at me. "One demon." He growled. His jealousy was showing already.

"Don't you want one?" I asked while making him look at me. "It will be fun."

"You're pushing it." He warned.

I exhaled, he wasn't gonna budge no matter what I did. I nodded. "Take us back to Earth."

He grabbed my hand and in an instant we were back onto Earth, in that dirty cabin I hate with a passion.

I laid down my instruments then turned to the demon. 'Take away all his powers.' I asked Red he did it in an instant. "Let him go." I said while choosing what will be needed for this hunt today.

He let the demon go and stepped back to watch what I was going to do. "You refused to bring a prey." I smiled while tapping his shoulder. "Feel free to watch." I stepped out and I immediately saw the tracks of the demon's feet. I followed them down the hill until they stopped in the middle of the woods.
