Your Not Alone

Chapter 7- We're staying.

Carl and talked alot about what Rick said last night and Carl and I are voting on staying.

I can't be afraid of my dad anymore. We can't run from him, he'll just find us again anyways.

"So when are you talking to your dad?" I asked Carl, as he threw on a new t-shirt.

"Now I guess, I doubt our opinions are going to change anything" He said as he left the room.

I rolled eyes, of course out opinions matter. Rick asked everyone.

"Hey" I looked up to see Owen.

"Oh hi, Owen." I smiled.

I was about to exit my cell when Owen grabbed my arm.

"Ow Owen your hurting me." I says yanking my arm from his grip.

He shook his head and looked at
Me in horror.

"I-I'm so sorry Lauren" he apologizes and runs off.

That was odd.

I make my way to the fence where I see Maggie picking off walkers.

"You talk to Rick yet?" She asked me.

"Carl is talking to him now, what'd you and Glenn decide?" I ask grabbing a fire poker and picked off a walker.

"We ain't leaving this place" she smiled. I nodded.

"This is all my fault, my dad would've left you guys alone, but now that me and Lucas are here..." I sighed.

"Hun, this ain't your fault your dad was after us for a long time now"

I nod and finished picking off the last few walkers off the fence and went up to the prison to shower off.

I enter the shower room and took a brisk shower, I dried my hair and my body then got re-dressed.

Then Carl and came in.

"Hey there Sunshine" I say wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Hey" he says accepting my hug.

He gave me a quick peck on the lips. We both smiled.

"Can I ask you something?" Carl nervously asks taking ahold on my hand.

"Anything" I nod.

"Would- would you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I stand there In 'awe' I smiled like an idiot and pull him into a hug.

"Yes" I whispered into his ear.
