Chapter 17- New People.

Abraham, Rosita, Eugene and Tara are new to the group. Eugene has the cute for this thing! So after we get out of this hell hole we are headed for Washington.

"Lauren could you help Carl out with the metal?" Maggie asks as she hands me her piece of wood.

I nod and take the piece of wood and walk over to Carl as he was carving into the Metal post.

"Hey, Carl. Maggie wants me to help you out." he scootched over and I sat.

"Do you think this'll work?" Carl asked concerned.

"Don't doubt your dad." I say not making eye contact. He sighs and continues to carve.

All of a sudden there was foot steps on top of the crate.

I look up see a hatch. CRAP.

"EVERYBODY MOVE!" I shout and it was to late they dropped a smoke bomb into the container. Knocking me out cold.

When I gained consciousness I was kneeled over the Metal trough I saw earlier. I look over to see random people then Glenn, Maggie, Carl, Abraham, Rick and myself.

I started to cry. and tried to squirm my way out of the rope, they tied it good.

I saw Garrett and two other guys sharpening machetes.

"It didn't have to be like this, guys" Garrett says as he sees we're all awake.

Glenn tries to say something but it's all muffled.

"What's that?" Garrett smirks.

Garrett approaches Glenn and pulls the restraint out.

"We have someone that can end this! all we have to do is take him to Washington and we could put an end to this!" Glenn announces.

"Let me thing about it." He motions the two men to the four people before Glenn and our group.

I don't even look. I hear thuds and a slicing sound four time. when I finally decide to look over I see four dead bodies and a horrified Glenn.

Garrett nods and the man was about to swing into Glenn's head when the building shook.
