Pedagogues

One, two, three,
As a pedagogue, you wanted to see.
The books, dialogues, and literacy—
Values, math, to attain the conspiracy.

Four, five, and six,
Listen until she hits the stick.
Answer if you're picked,
Don't let the kerosene run out of the wick.

Seven, eight, nine,
Everybody stands up in line.
Listen until she gave a sign,
Shut when she sips her wine.

Ten, eleven, twelve,
The learners were delved
In the trees with themselves,
Above the schemes they made.

Pedagogues are fair and fine,
Don't make them mad or break the line.
They hate giddy girls that out of time,
But they loved everyone, so don't waste a dime.
