Rabbit Hole

Spring came,
I feel so lame,
So I took a run,
To the forestland,
With no boots and gun.

In an instant,
I fell—
Down in the rabbit hole.
So dark and frigid,
Like a lump of wet coal.

I saw the light
When I came out.
It was out of sight—
Up to the rabbit hole
With no traces of goals.

Another world that I need,
To seize the raft and ride the reed,
Like a witch hovering in the night sky,
Burned after she was accused of a myriad of crimes
And turned into ashes and thrown away like a dime.

It was horrible—
Misty and the Dark Rabbit Hole.
I should've used my gun,
No bullets and no triggers,
But only wisdom rules forever.
