Amidst the verdant canopy,
I soar high above with glee,
Like a hummingbird in tranquility,
I yearn for your touch once more, so free.Enveloped in a veil of leaves,
I grieve for the love that now grieves,
I still hold onto the hope you'll return,
Though years have passed, my heart still burns. The canopy is now my resting place,
After you fled, leaving me in grace,
I talk to myself with a face unknown,
My broken limbs shiver, and my voice moans.Down below, I fall to the ground,
In search of you, my heart unbound,
I walk and say "hello," with a hopeful sound,
But your voice echoes with no rebound.
